Here are some great questions that Senators should pose to Betsy DeVos at her hearings on January 11.

The questions were written by literacy expert Russ Walsh.
The question asking her to idenfify acronyms is a hoot, with the WPA a delightful addition.
The DeVos hearing has been pushed back to next Tuesday or Wednesday so they can “accommodate the schedules in the senate.” I am sure it is much more than that.
That scheduling change for DeVos may allow for some attention to another event that merits attention. On January 11, the Supreme Court will hear arguments about the language, meaning, and issues of funding for special education.

If the discussion/narrative about education were not so far gone and had not deteriorated so much, my question would be, “You’re kidding, right?”
I have a question regarding the names of the 20 governors who sent letter to Lamar Alexandar encouraging DeVos appointment. I want to know if they are financially supported by the DeVos family funding….or her extended family or any agency or business that they own/operate. Anyone with a link to that letter and who the governors are?
Any plans for a new building for department of ed? Maybe something like
Nah, ain’t no ‘god’ in the words ‘public education’.
Dear Betsy,
Please tell us about your views on intelligent design and if you think they should be taught in public schools along with evolution and evolution theory.
After your term as secretary of the DOE has been served,
what do you hope your legacy will be?
