Politico assembled five writers who have written biographies of Donald J. Trump.
They have watched him up close and personal.
They discuss his past, his motivations, what makes him tick.

One of the authors states that the last two elections were a repudiation of racism. I agree but, tied into the vote, was optimism that the strangulation of economic opportunity for the 99% would be stopped and, that there would be redress for the 30-year exploitation of labor, by the richest 0.1%. Both political parties, once elected, allowed the sham argument about technology, replacing human work, to continue labor’s abuse. The answer going forward is obviously not the Narcissistic Trump but, it is, also, not the Aspen Institute’s prescriptions, developed by neoliberals and men like the Koch’s (and, funded by Gates and the Waltons).

Robert Reich attempts to appeal to progressives: “I continue to hear from many people who call themselves progressives or liberals, but tell me they won’t vote for Hillary Clinton in the upcoming election.
With due respect, I believe they’re wrong.
Herewith, their three major arguments and my responses.”

Good luck to Reich but I doubt he will change any minds.

If Pres. Obama fires the SEC chair, as Elizabeth Warren recently, demanded. it would, IMO, convince progressives that there’s a chance that Washington will change under Clinton.

“And, you know, he’s held James Bond and Hugh Hefner out as role models. And I don’t think that’s evolved for him much since the age of 12.”
A good description of his core drive. The fact that he made his dream happen is impressive. Still not the core drive needed to be a leader.

Not the core drive fit for a president.

Trump has been very closed to Roger Stone, his own confidante for 30+ years, who was famous for:
1)”lord of mischief”,
2) the “boastful black prince of Republican sleaze.”
This explained Trump’s bad deeds, attitudes and doing businesses’ styles. Back2basic
