Why does Trump go to White Nationalist sites for his images?

I wonder how Donald Trump feels about Gulen charter schools…

Here is a partial quote from an opinion written by Paul Waldman. The headline in the Washington Post was “Trump’s white supremacist tweets aren’t the problem. They’re a symptom of the problem”.
“…By this time we’ve all become accustomed to this pas de deux of hate between Trump and his supporters. When he says that a Latino judge from Indiana can’t do his job because “he’s a Mexican,” we shake our heads. When he tells an apocryphal story about a general executing Muslim prisoners with bullets dipped in pig’s blood as a lesson in how America ought to act, our shock doesn’t last more than a day. When he laments the fact that the Islamic State can behead people while we’re restrained by our laws and morality, saying “They probably think we’re weak” and “You have to fight fire with fire,” we barely take notice. When he weds his support of bigoted policies like bans on Muslims to a fetishization of violence and brutality, promising to use torture and telling his supporters how he’d love to beat up the protesters who come to his rallies (“I’d like to punch him in the face, I’ll tell ya”), we predict that any day now he’ll “pivot” and start acting “presidential.”
And we forget that not long ago the man now leading the GOP made himself into America’s most prominent birther, going on every TV show he could to claim that President Obama might be the beneficiary of a decades-long conspiracy to conceal the fact that he was actually born in Kenya. If you’re wondering whether that’s just stupid and crazy, or if it’s inherently racist, let me clear it up for you: Yes, it’s racist.
In my analysis of American politics I try as often as possible to put myself in the shoes of people I disagree with, to take their arguments seriously and understand where they’re coming from even when I’m convinced they’re wrong. And I’ve argued that there are perfectly rational reasons a committed Republican would grit their teeth and support Trump even if they found him to be an ignoramus and a buffoon. But there comes a point at which one would have to say: Even if a Trump presidency would deliver much more of what I would want out of government policy, from the Supreme Court to domestic policy to foreign policy, I simply cannot be a part of this. Donald Trump’s appeal to Americans is so rancid, so toxic, so foul that my conscience will not allow me to stand behind him, even with the occasional protest that I don’t agree with the latest vile thing he said, or the insistence that my fellow Republicans and I will do our best to restrain his ugliest impulses….”

I loathe and despise Trump and I wouldn’t vote for him in any public capacity. But to imply that he’s anti-Semitic is probably a bridge too far. Is he giving a wink and a nod to far right wing nativists and immigrant haters? Yes. He’s a shameless demagogue who happily stirs up the racial/ethnic pot. I don’t think Trump would want to intentionally alienate potential Jewish supporters and donors (Adelson for one). Just another dumb tweet from the clueless Donald. When does this hell campaign end? In NJ, when the presidential vomit comet campaign ends, the governor’s campaign will already be in its infancy. Christie will be gone (whoopee!!!!) but we in NJ will have to endure more political manure than can possibly be recycled.

We had Hasidic Jews supporting Ted Cruise also surrounded by antisemitic rhetoric and the relationship between the far right wing Evangelicals and Israel another paradox.
Adelson ignoring some pretty horrendous remarks should come as no surprise.
So when Christie loses ,who replaces him. This is why Sanders was so vehemently opposed by the corporate press and media . He was the one candidate who represented change. More than any actions from the DNC . The coordination between the Clinton campaign and the press rigged this election.
Not that I read the Daily News, I would not rap dead fish in it. But according to Juan Cole a staff writer for the News and co-host of Democracy Now. No one thought Sanders stumbled until after the Clinton campaign got the transcript. And took hold of the narrative for the editorial.
Chris Mathews was eviscerated in the New Yorker for a softball interview with Clinton in which he answered the questions for her cracking jokes as he did. Days latter a Town Hall meeting with Sanders looked like Mixed Martial Arts .
From before the first primary the narrative was the path was impossible for Sanders or anyone but Clinton .
So here we are choosing the lessor of two evils again which I predict will be your choice in Jersey for Governor. Exactly where the Corporatocracy wants us.

Washington Post is a oneside paper. Not that Donald is my favorite but I have watched the way they have reported this election. It says alot about their push for candiate. remember Trump blocked them and this is how they responded. It is more Clinton an anti-semitic. She is surrounded by her main adviser is the biggest anti-semitic Blumenthal.

Joanne…now that the Washington Post is owned by Amazon owner, Jeff Bezos, it has become more fractured and politically one sided…but it still has great columnists who favor public schools, Valerie and Jay. But do agree about Blumenthal…both senior and junior seem to be self hating members of their gene pool. Bizarre and schitzy that Hillary listens to papa B. while mouthing support of Israel. Where is the truth?

By the way, Trump’s daughter converted to Judaism when she married a hedge fund guy that was Jewish. Although considering his occupation, he probably worships money more than anything.

Ouch…your comment sounds a bit like Trumps Hillary tweet with the Star of David superimposed. Ivanka’s husband is Orthodox, but that does not mean he is only driven by money. His occupation as a hedge fund guy should not be stereotypicaly conflated with his Judaism.

As a history teacher, my biggest concern has been the similarity of Trump’s campaign to the rise of Hitler. Too many parallels to ignore. This is the absolute proof.
This isn’t just political. Think about how much autonomy teachers have lost over the past ten years starting with NCLB – and it could get much much worse! Even if Trump loses, we now understand how much his message resonates. Compromises to civil rights will be made to appease his supporters. We have to do all we can to mitigate them.
Where is the NEA? We can’t let America think that our education professionals believe that racism is okay. This has always been an understood plank in our platform. Teachers must be forceful this summer. We need to pick up our torches and pitchforks to prove that we care about the children and young adults in our communities – and fight for what is right.

Missing the Biggest Story about Trump’s Twitter Images from Bill Moyers…..
“It’s no accident that Trump’s social media feeds keep using neo-Nazi imagery; he’s actively courting hate.
By Todd Gitlin | July 5, 2016
The latest dog-whistle images from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s Twitter feed. The original image is on the left; the one that replaced it is on the right. (Twitter via CNN)
Over the holiday weekend, major media rightly piled on about Donald Trump’s recent recycling of neo-Nazi imagery — in particular his Hillary-hating blast featuring a six-point star affixed onto a heap of $100 bills. As both The New York Times and The Washington Post prominently reported, Trump cut and pasted neo-Nazi images from the internet when he unleashed the latest round of his Twitter barrage at Hillary Clinton as “most corrupt candidate ever.”
The Times’ Alan Rappeport was judicious, perhaps too much so:
While the six-pointed star is used in other contexts, including as a symbol of many Sheriff’s Departments, it has deep meaning in Judaism and the image was overlaid atop a pile of money. It appeared to play into the stereotype of Jews being obsessed with finances. After being derided on social media, Mr. Trump deleted the post and replaced it with one that had a circle instead of the star shape.
Connoisseurs of Nazi regalia should note that, according to Bryce Covert at ThinkProgress, “Sheriff’s stars nearly always have circles on the ends of the points or one large circle around the outside of the star.” Google Images agrees.
In any event, The Times missed the more unnerving part of the story. The Washington Post’s David Weigel got closer:
The image that Trump chose to illustrate his point, which portrayed a red Star of David shape slapped onto a bed of $100 bills, had origins in the online white-supremacist movement. For at least the fifth time, Trump’s Twitter account had shared a meme from the racist “alt-right” and offered no explanation why.
And there’s more. Ben Kharakh and Dan Primack, at Fortune.com, nailed the “yuge” revelation coiled in the core of this disgusting business: Throughout his campaign, Trump has been blithely recycling tweets from neo-Nazis and white supremacists who revel in the phrase “white Genocide.” They use those tweets, copy them and reuse them. Thus, consciously or not, they flash signals to the Make America White Again crowd — come on board. As one prominent neo-Nazi put it, Trump is “giving us the old wink-wink.”
Kharakh and Primack are scrupulous. They write:
It is possible that Trump ― who, according to the campaign, does almost all of his own tweeting — is unfamiliar with the term “white genocide” and doesn’t do even basic vetting of those whose tweets he amplifies to his 7 million followers. But the reality is that there are dozens of tweets mentioning @realDonaldTrump each minute, and he has an uncanny ability to surface ones that come from accounts that proudly proclaim their white supremacist leanings….
Since the start of his campaign, Donald Trump has retweeted at least 75 users who follow at least three of the top 50 [most influential] #WhiteGenocide influencers.
In other words, the hardest core of racist America.”

Trump’s Actual Racism and How It’s Thrived
BY Todd Gitlin | June 8, 2016
“Trump has said before that he doesn’t pay attention to the source of his tweet material. He sees what he likes and retweets it. Asked by Kharakh and Primack for more detail about his Twitter practice, his spokesperson Hope Hicks “declined to explain how Trump searches through his Twitter feed. Hicks also declined (repeatedly) to answer Fortune’s question as to whether or not Trump believes that white genocide is a legitimate concern.”
Meanwhile, CBS News’ Sopan Deb has noted that Trump’s social media director ducked the key question about the graphic’s origins thusly, declaring disingenuously that the graphic “was lifted from an anti-Hillary Twitter user where countless images appear.” As Sarah Kendzior pointed out on Twitter, one of those “countless images” featured a swastika (later deleted) made out of images of Hillary’s face.
Trump’s Twitter pattern tells you a lot about the crowd he or his Twitter-reading staff hang out with.
Here’s the point: Trump’s Twitter pattern tells you a lot about the crowd he or his Twitter-reading staff hang out with. If you look at my Facebook page, for example, you’ll get a pretty good approximation of the sort of stuff I read online, since I post links to a lot of pieces I read from various sites, often singling out quotes and inserting remarks. It won’t be a perfect replica, and actually I do read quite a lot offline too, thank you very much, but my links alone will give you a fair idea of my everyday reading habits.
If you believe that Trump or his top lieutenants just happened to stumble on these racist tweets — singled them out from among the vast universe of possible source materials, perhaps because neo-Nazi design ideas are so “interesting” — then I’ll order you a lifetime supply of Trump steaks, and if you hurry, I’ll throw in a special taco bowl each year on Hitler’s birthday.
The great big story is not just that Trump lies. It’s not only that Trump and his campaigners court Americans who want to make America white and Christian again. It’s not only the vicious and lunatic legions who creep out from under the rocks at his signals. It’s not even that CNN’s brand-new legally gagged political commentator, Corey Lewandowski, thinks that the uproar about the six-pointed star shows that “political correctness” has “run amok.”
The big story is that a slime-pit of Jew-hatred and race-hatred is the intellectual universe where Trump and his movement live.’

This more of what Trump has unleashed. This was sent to me last week by a list serve for PDA. The lazy Progressive Dem who maintains this list did not vet the Naomi Wolf video. It is posted by Renegade Tribune, the most racist anti black, anti Semitic, pro White group I have run across lately. Because she did not vet this garbage before sending it on, others on her list also sent it on.
The lesson is to NEVER send out something without carefully finding who sent it. Naomi found herself talking to a White Separatist cult of Libertarians who all moved to a commune in New Hampshire. Amazing she would deign to speak to them.
Please read this link carefully and explore all aspects of Renegade Tribune.
Even the books they advertise are right out of the Third Reich. This is our New World Order of Trumpism.

THE CLOCK
A man died and went to Heaven.
As he stood in front of the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked, “What are all those clocks for?”
St. Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone who has ever been on earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock move.”
“Oh”, said the man. “Whose clock is that?”
“That’s Mother Teresa’s”, replied St. Peter. “The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”
“Incredible”, said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”
St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abraham told only two lies in his entire life.”
“Where’s Donald Trump’s clock?” asked the man.
St. Peter replied, “We’re using it as a ceiling fan.”
