Over the past couple of weeks, there have been many articles about PARCC deleting blogs and tweets. In every case, PARCC complains that the offending blogger and Tweeter has infringed on its copyright.
But Mercedes asks an overlooked question: Does PARCC Inc. actually own the copyright to the PARCC tests?
Mercedes seeks the answer directly from Laura Glover, the executive of PARCC Inc.
If they own the PARCC, let the world see the evidence.
Excellent question, as usual.
What you said.

Hello all. Here is the link:

Has anyone contacted the LOC’s copyright office to see if any filings were made?
Since PARCC , Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers supposedly measures college readiness, why do they not fall under the Truth in Testing legislation in which students can review questions and their answers from tests?
A righteous detective.
All those who have been a victim of the post takedown as a result of the PARCC ( write that acronym backwards to see its true meaning) should write the complying entity asking what proof was given to it that the complaining individuals had the actual copyrights. They should demand that the posts be reposted until such time as the appropriate documents are provided.
