   Behind all the sniggers and guffaws at Trump’s gaffe is a serious issue, though it is dodged by both sides in the abortion discussion. States can make late term abortions illegal. If a physician can be punished for performing an illegal late term abortion, shouldn’t the woman who procured it bear some of the guilt? A symbolic $10 fine? A few weekends in jail? If not, why not.

   If X hires someone to murder Y, and the murder is committed, doesn’t X have responsibility for the crime, as much as the triggerman?

   Given the market for organs and the rate of technology advances, it is not beyond imagination that in the not distant future, there may be a market for nearly born organs. People who are brain dead can be kept alive by artificial means. Could a skilled provider suck out just enough of the 36 week fetal brain to make it legally brain dead, but preserve the areas of the brain which control heartbeat and respiration? Fetal organs can then be harvested, or perhaps the corpse remain otherwise intact as a host to grow the organs to a larger size.

   “DONALD TRUMP IS NOT HUMAN BY CURRENT STANDARDS”

   wjm….I think your point is squarely on the mark……..ironic that after all the craziness we have heard from Trump, and reporters and commentators made to look silly for saying “we’ve got him this time”……chris matthews tricks him into saying something which essentially makes sense…..the media goes crazy over it…..and maybe they do have him this time.
