Thanks goodness that John will never be confirmed, but only ‘acting’. Something he is very adept at. Acting that is. I would have loved to have watched that hearing. Heck, put it on pay-per-view and help reduce the deficit!

Obama should be listening to Dr. Tiffany Anderson instead of Duncan and King. She should be sharing her success formula with other urban educators. Here is success that is evidence based! Instead Obama naively clings to the idea that the market will solve our education woes. He seems to be fine with the endless disruption and experimentation that urban students experience, even though positive outcomes are lacking.
