Alan Singer thinks that President Obama didn’t go far enough to reduce testing. He thinks the “Testing Action Plan” is empty rhetoric. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alan-singer/obama-fails-on-testing_b_8415776.html
Michael Bloomberg thinks the President was wrong to discount the importance of standardized testing, the source of data that tells leaders which teachers and principals should be fired and which schools should be closed.

What do you think?
I think that former NYC Mayor Bloomberg should relax. The “action plan” is all talk, no action.

Thanks for the link. Heartbreaking.
Bloomberg is open and up front about his wish to destroy public education, whereas Obama needs stealth in order to best serve his patrons.
It’s just kabuki theater. Both sides really agree with each other, but they have to play games about savaging each other in public. Reminds me of the old coyote and sheep dog Looney Toons cartoons – they were perfectly cordial and friendly to each other, then they’d punch in for a day’s work and beat the stuffing out of each other, then they’d punch out and wish each other a good night.
That is exactly what it is.
Yes!!!!!
