Jonathan Pelto reviews the FUSE-Jumoke scandal and shows how the report of the damning investigation was released. When politicians want to minimize coverage of an embarrassing event, the press release is issued late on a Friday afternoon, preferably in the middle of a holiday.
Pelto writes:
“Now, months after the investigation was called for, an incredibly damning report has been made public.
“But in a typical move designed to limit political fall-out and protect the guilty, Governor Malloy’s State Department of Education failed to release the stunning report until late in the afternoon on Friday, January 2, 2014.
“The Hartford Courant, which has led the investigative work on FUSE/Jumoke didn’t get a full news report up until 8pm and the CT Post, another media outlet that has followed the story, produced their updated report after 10:30pm.
“Oh, and try as you might, you won’t even find the press release or the report listed on the Department of Education’s “Media Page.”

I will post a link to this post on every news web page that might look at the information. Perhaps if others did the same, someone, at those media outlets, will take notice.
The media outlets know how the game is played. They won’t pick up a story, unless they are afraid that they might miss out on a story that becomes BIG.
It is difficult, but not impossible, to make a story bigger than the corporate controlled media would like it to be. We have to identify more sources who have some power to make decisions about what gets into the mainstream press.

How to “UN” BURY a scandal… since holiday time (right when the weekend starts) is when PR pundits feel it is strategic to make a “bad news announcement”… how about having the increasing hoards of people adversely affected protest loud and clear at transit points like airports and train stations!!!!! Let the “BAD” NEWS TRAVEL!!!!

It has been very slow going getting the ‘increasing hoards of people adversely affected’, to understand where the corruption is centered. But there is some indication that we are building a critical mass in our ability to change the narrative.
Can we help to put pressure on those in the corporate media realm to tell the true story? With enough people we can.
