Now here is an interesting debate topic: Who really controls the Florida legislature?
Jeb Bush or ALEC?
Or are they the same people with different organizational ties?
Read here to learn about ALEC’s role in Florida.
Recently, ALEC was about to pass a resolution condemning the Common Core standards, but Jeb intervened to stop it. He probably reminded them of the profits that corporations will make as the test scores plummet across the land in response to “tougher,” more “rigorous” standards.

Snow day and I am communicating with pictures today. Jeb is gearing up for the 2016 presidential race…..we’ll be due for another Bush by then.
Not to make light of a tragedy but any sink holes near this Bush home? Too soon….sorry.
See greedy Jeb here…from chalk face….lots of teats to suck from…look at his face….oink oink.

I’m not sure the tide is actually starting to turn against ALEC in Florida. The Parent Trigger Bill (HB867) was approved in the House Choice & Innovation Subcommittee yesterday. Unlike last year, the FL legislature is made up of more supporters of this bill and Governor Scott has already vowed to sign it if it gets to his desk.

Does anyone think it’s interesting that both sides of education are for Common Core? Jeb Bush and company love them and the AFT and NEA love them too.
