Crain’s New York is running an opinion poll, asking which of Bloomberg’s policies the next mayor should get rid of. Bloomberg has promoted high-stakes testing, charter schools, school closings, co-locations of charters, and evaluation of teachers by test scores. Class sizes are at their highest in fourteen years.

I really can’t believe that he described public school parents who oppose co-locations with charter schools as special interest groups. It’s such a sickening distortion of the truth.

The answer is simple. All of his policies. Go back to basics and democracy with full accountabilty and teaching the public the real budget so that they can knowingly make “Real Choices.”
