Let’s face it, so much of this hits the nail on the head.
It is interesting that for so long, the Union and the teachers have all been in bed with progressives pushing this agenda. However now Obama is stabbing them in the back.
Finally Obama turned on them.
Obama is wrong about evaluating the teachers via the standardized assessment. The teachers are right to object.
These assessments are MORE behavior modification training. That’s why it’s called an assessment and NOT a TEST.
Tests will analyze KNOWLEDGE. Assessments are more about analyzing their values, beliefs and attitudes.
The unions have no credibility that is why no one is listening to them. They alienated conservatives and now that the teachers are being thrown to the wolves by Obama. No one will come to their defense.
The union is too involved with Marxist ideology, aka..social justice to even see what is being done to them.
They know they don’t want to be evaluated, and every conservative should fear an Obama evaluation of their kids values, but they can’t appeal to conservatives because they turned their back on that group years ago.
It’s time to leave the political mantra behind and go back to what works. QUALITY education. Ignore Alinsky, Dewey and go back to E.D. Hirsch’s philosophy and focus on a quality public education.
It’s not fun to watch this ship sink.
