This morning I posted about Neil Armstrong and the letter he wrote to one of his teachers when she retired, thanking her for what she had done for him. She was his math teacher in elementary school.
A reader asked if she could turn what I had written into a poster, and I said “of course.”
Hours later, I received this link. Look at it: It is beautiful!
I am touched and grateful.

That’s beautiful tank you for sharing

Splendid tribute to an abused profession–teachers overworked, underpaid, and constantly abused and disrespected by the corporate privateers who would never send their own kids to public school.

This is a beautiful poster.
Unfortunately, many of the certified, Master’s degree holding teachers who have invested thousands of dollars mastering their skills and increasing their knowledge by continuing their education in accredited institutions of higher education will never reach retirement because they have been replaced by the five week trained TFA teachers.

Outstanding. I would make room for this poster.

It’s beaudtiful and inspiring and should be hung in every school. I was shaken and dismayed to come across so many high school students and even some “teachers” who said it never happened.
