I watched this display of sniveling sycophants on Jen Psaki’s show. It was nauseating to watch, but I felt better when I read that a democrat had flipped a state senate seat in Iowa.

I also watched Psaki’s show–and thought at first maybe they were re-doing a version of the movie “Airplane.” But no. It was real. And so the only appropriate response was to vomit.

I’ve written my congressman, Brian Mast, appealing to his being a veteran who had both legs blown off in Afghanistan, and his supposed patriotism, by swearing his oath to defend the Constitution, both as a soldier and as a congressman. I asked him to show the courage of a Joseph Welch, who eventually stood up to Joseph McCarthy, asking him, “Have you no decency, sir”? When will a Republican stand up to Trump in a similar fashion? I keep going back & forth thinking I may actually get through to some Maga/Trump acolytes, but then in the next moment I think to myself that it’s hopeless, so why bother. It’s maddening to realize that we’re living in a Twilight Zone, Orwellian type episode, but still holding out hope that it will end eventually as did the nightmarish McCarthy era. Oy vey!

I didn’t plan to watch this but I just did and it was as I expected, exactly like the Cabinet meetings in his previous term –an orchestrated love fest aimed to demonstrate which fanatical sycophant could kiss the as* of the malignant narcissist better than the last guy.
BTW, the stuff about Taylor Swift getting married which came afterwards was alot more interesting, so ultimately I felt that my time was not completely wasted. (I’m not really all that into her, but I do MUCH prefer her politics and I’m glad that so many young voters love her…)

It’s sickening to watch Trump hear and enjoy such blatant praise. Yes, definitely this is the greatest President and the greatest cabinet this country has ever had.
Trump is mentally unbalanced and these cabinet members are totally unqualified for the jobs they are supposed to do. None of them are a bit smarter than the narcissistic, sociopath who is working to destroy our country.
His cabinet members are all wealthy and are benefiting from his presidency.
What has this country come to when lies are continuing to be spread and believed?

And the fact that he chooses to lap up the fake praise in silence. A normal person would humbly demur such praise but not a thin-skinned, insecure, weak, cowardly, insurrecting traitor. Oh, and where are those pesky Epstein files Mr. Bocankles?
