Trump ranted against the celebrities who endorsed Kamala Harris in her failed Presidential campaign, singling out Beyoncé and Bruce Springsteen. He said they had been paid by the Harris campaign, and he threatened to investigate them. He insisted that Harris paid Beyoncé $11 million for her endorsement.
Trump is a sore winner.
The Los Angeles Times reported:
President Trump is very much still hung up on the star power that boosted former Vice President Kamala Harris’ ultimately unsuccessful campaign.
In a pair of posts shared to his Truth Social platform Sunday night and Monday morning, Trump criticized several celebrities who publicly endorsed Harris in her months-long bid. Among the stars fueling the former “Apprentice” host’s ire were Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Oprah and Bono. In his caps-lock-laden tirades, Trump accused the Harris camp of illegally paying Springsteen, Beyoncé and other stars to appear at campaign events and throw their support behind the Biden-era VP.
“I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter,” Trump wrote on Sunday, before accusing Harris and her team of paying for endorsements “under the guise of paying for entertainment.”
Springsteen attacked Trump again as he performs in England.
The Boss did not back down on his fiery rhetoric against Trump on the second night of his “Land of Hopes and Dreams” tour in Manchester, England, on Saturday — a day after Trump lashed out against the legendary singer on Truth Social, calling him an “obnoxious jerk,” a “dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker,” and writing that he should “keep his mouth shut.”
Springsteen didn’t oblige. In a resolute three-minute speech from the Co-op Live venue, Springsteen thanked his cheering audience for indulging him in a speech about the state of America: “Things are happening right now that are altering the very nature of our country’s democracy, and they’re too important to ignore.”
He then repeated many of the lines that he used during his first Manchester show — the same words that upset Trump to begin with, including the administration defunding American universities, the rolling back of civil rights legislation and siding with dictators, “against those who are struggling for their freedoms…”
“In my home, they’re persecuting people for their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. That’s happening now,” Springsteen said. “In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death. That’s happening now. In my country, they’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers.”
In a steady voice, he listed the many concerns of those who oppose Trump, his enablers and his policies.
“They are removing residents off American streets without due process of law and deploying them to foreign detention centers as prisoners. That’s happening now. The majority of our elected representatives have utterly failed to protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government,” Springsteen said as the crowd applauded and yelled its support. “They have no concern or idea of what it means to be deeply American.”
He finished on a positive note.
“The America I’ve sung to you about for 50 years is real, and regardless of its many faults, it’s a great country with a great people, and we will survive this moment. Well, I have hope, because I believe in the truth of what the great American writer James Baldwin said. He said, ‘In this world, there isn’t as much humanity as one would like, but there’s enough.’ ”

“In a pair of posts shared to his Truth Social platform Sunday night and Monday morning,“
This speaks volumes that no one hears, especially Congress who represent “the people” and the Constitution.
This man is in the most powerful, influential seat on the planet. He could do good and he could do evil. He flails at his magnanimous versions of the former and judges people through the lens of the latter.
In the same day he declares (only) he can negotiate a peace treaty and he’ll blackmail universities and law firms wiser and smarter than he. At the top of his priority filter, upstaging the funeral of the Pope as he holds a “meeting” in the Basilica
But what truly matters? He never won that Emmy for his reality game show.
Every day: War, famine, destructive climate change, poverty, tornadoes (now we in Missouri will wait months for decimated FEMA to maybe sort of help if he gives the ok)…
What is mind on? Communicating to millions of “followers” a fixation on Kamala Harris, he’s not at the cool kids table, the popular “America great” musicians and actors despise him.
How’s this “deal” – Put him on Mt. Rushmore and pass the proverbial torch now.

Trump is talking about Harris because he desperately wants to train attention away from the Big Beautiful Bill that will shutter hospitals in areas of his greatest support by 2029 so his opponents will get the blame for it.

THE THING IS: Trump’s MAGA Minions believe what Trump says and any voices that contradict him are not heard by the MAGA Minions because the only news they listen to is what’s inside the MAGA news silo, consisting of Fox News, Newsmax, and similar right-wing broadcast and social media.
FOR EXAMPLE, Kristi Noem told a congressional committee that the writ of Habeas Corpus in the Constitution gives Trump the constitutional authority to deport people. To those of us who know what a writ of Habeas Corpus actually does, it looked like Noem was just stupid.
BUT SHE WASN’T BEING STUPID — she was being smart. Smarter than the Democrats on the committee:
Noem knows full well what a writ of Habeas Corpus is, but she also knows that most MAGA Minions don’t. So, she was deliberately telling a lie, and the video clip of her telling that lie was plastered all over right-wing media, causing millions of MAGA Minions to pump their fists and shout: “Right on! I just knew that Trump has the right to deport people.”
No one in the MAGA news silo saw any of what followed in the committee hearing in which Democrats refuted that lie.
Same thing happened when Marco Rubio testified yesterday: First, he told a completely fabricated lie about Senator Van Hollen having a drink with a human trafficker; then Rubio made up the “fact” that in the Constitution there’s “a division in our government between the federal branch and the judicial branch” that no court can make rulings on.
Only those clips of Rubio’s lies were played on the right-wing news silo, and the MAGA Minions swallowed all of them because they don’t know that all branches of the federal government are “federal” so that there is no such thing as a “federal branch”; and the MAGA Minions don’t know that there is no branch between the fictional “federal branch” and the judicial branch.
Every time the Democrats put a Trump cabinet member “on the spot” in a committee hearing, the Dems are only giving Trump’s toadies another opportunity to tell a lie that will be shown as the truth in the right-wing news silo.
If you want to expose MAGA Minions to the truth, the only way you can do that is by posting the truth on those right-wing media, like Fox News and Newsmax. Do that relentlessly — and just ignore the replies to your posts because you will never succeed in arguing with those closed minds that reply.

I reply on social media to the gaslighting stories my local Sinclair station posts. At first, I responded to some of those that disagreed with me. Now I still post my perspective, but I turn off their responses. I am not going to waste my time responding to them or their insults.

It would help if both Springsteen and Beyonce issued a statement refuting this. If not able to, then Trump wins again, which is disgusting.

When anything happens that Jabba the Trump doesn’t like, he simply goes in front of cameras and lies about it. This is how he operates.
And half of Americans believe him. Every. Freaking. Time.

Of course Trump is pissed off at these celebs critical of him. The best he can do is to get support from the likes of Nashville failures Lee Greenwood ( the one hit wonder, I’m proud to be an American) and Kid Rock, who recently got into trouble when he had to send his illegal help home down on lower broad. Trump is miserable about his rejection by those who have a brain.

The celebrities mentioned are some of the wealthiest. It’s absurd to believe they would be paid by the DNC or the Harris campaign.
