This is a shocking development. The government of Qatar is giving Trump an airplane worth $400 million to replace Airforce 1 and for Trump’s personal use after his Presidency. It will eventually be retired to the Trump “library.”
Forget the fact that the Constitution forbids the President from accepting gifts from any foreign nation (the Emoluments Clause). Trump fired all the federal ethics officers and replaced them with his personal choices. Coincidence?
The AP reported the funniest line:
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, when asked Friday if the president during his upcoming trip might meet with people ties to his family’s business, said it was “ridiculous” to suggest Trump “is doing anything for his own benefit.”

Trump has a symbiotic grift relationship with Qatar. When he finishes fleecing the US at the end of his term, he will sail off into the sunset in his golden chariot and head off to Qatar which has no extradition treaty with the US.

I think Trump and his amateur cabinet are mere place holders for all the billionaire extremists that are paying to get The Heritage Foundation’s destructive plans imposed on the US. Most of them act like casual observers that take responsibility for nothing and dispassionately watch the earthquake from afar. They are riding the wave of attention that the office affords them, but they seem unburdened by the responsibility of it all.

It is time for Trump, The Felon, to be impeached by the US Congress and thrown into the deepest darkest federal prison. He is a domestic terrorist that should be treated as such.

Trump and his family are totally beholden to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Now is beholden to the Qatar. This makes the people of the United States beholden to all this foreign nationals.
Trump will probably, like he has with all his construction contracts, try to cancel the current production of Air Force 1 (because Obama started) and stick Boeing with the bill, daring them to sue him.
There is not a more evil black hearted person on this planet than Donald J. Trump.

Trump has basically said, in mob boss fashion, “Whaddya gonna do about it?” to the Supreme Court! And this bribe in violation of the emoluments clause is just another example of that attitude. The Founders should have foreseen a lawless president being protected by his faction controlling both houses of Congress.

If Qatar actually gives the plane to the Defense Department as Trump claims then it will take millions upon millions of dollars just to gut the plane and rebuild to meet the requirements for security and protection of the President. Then, if as Trump claims, the plane is turned over to the Trump Library Foundation it will take millions upon millions of dollars to remove all the items put in the plane. There is no way that the plane will be given to the foundation unless it is gutted. No way.

If anyone here has read Airframe, by Michael Crichton, he or she will know how breathtakingly complex a modern jet airliner is–a Boeing 747, for example, has six million distinct parts. So, no airplane built by a foreign country can be made safe for such a use. It would have to be entirely disassembled into its millions of components. Each component would have to be examined forensically, and then all of them would have to be reassembled into an airplane.

We all know how Trump, the Business Man, likes to stiff contractors on big projects by cancelling their contract without paying for what has been accomplished or simply claiming the work does not meet his standards and then not pay the contractor. How many businesses have gone under because of Trump’s ways of dealing with contractors just so he can make money. How many people have lost jobs, homes, cars, etc., because of Trump.
So, that being said. What is going to happen when Trump decides to cancel the contract with Boeing for the two new Air Force 1’s that have been under contract since 2018? I would almost bet that once he gets that free Boeing 747 he will just try to cancel the current contract with Boeing for the new Air Force 1.
Trump, the slimy slug, is low enough of a person to do it.
