Did Elon Musk say that? Yes, he did.
Snopes, the fact-checking service, confirmed that billionaire Elon Musk said that Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, was a “reason why Western Civilization died.”
Why? Because since her divorce, Scott has given away billions of dollars to charitable organizations that help women and racial minorities.
Snopes provided this context:
Musk wrote in response to a post on X that, “‘Super rich ex-wives who hate their former spouse'” should be listed among “‘Reasons that Western Civilization died.'” That post said of Scott’s philanthropic efforts that “over half of the orgs to which she’s donated so far deal with issues of race and/or gender.” Musk later deleted his post.
Questions:
Does Elon Musk make charitable gifts? If so, where does he give? There are tax breaks for giving to charity. What are Elon’s charities?

It’s not a charitable gift but it shows that Elon Musk is a fascist.

Musk is a chaos agent, his primary goal is to create strife and controversy as a way of keeping the nation divided and distracted. He has no actual skills or ability in engineering which is why his Mars colony fantasy and other “big ideas” are on the nonsensical to toxic spectrum.

One of my fears is that non-profits in this country that help so many people to have better lives are going to suffer with the likes of Trump and Musk in office.
I am on a BoDs for a non-profit that supports science and math education in the local public schools. The organization has been doing the work in the classrooms for 35 years. We also own a 950 acre nature park where students are bused out to learn about nature. The park has hiking trails for the public to use on a daily basis. A lot of the funding comes from grants and personal donations that could very well dry up under Trump’s leadership (I use the “leadership” loosely for Trump).
With Trump and Musk wanting to cut the federal budget and giving tax breaks to the very wealthy I foresee a decrease in the amount of support given to non-profits across the United States.
People are going to suffer under Trump and his minions. Public education is going to take many steps backwards. Only the wealthy will be able to afford a good education for their children.
Medical services in this country will only be available to the wealthy. Infectious diseases will again raise their ugly heads with people dying who who could have lived a wonderful life.

Nothing good can come from Trump’s cabinet of creeps, quacks and hedge fund managers or his “government efficiency agency” administered by two wealthy egomaniacs. We can forget about Musk’s hyperbole about Western civilization dying. Actual Americans will die if these two clowns dismantle the ACA on which over 45 million Americans depend, and other vulnerable people will be in their crosshairs as well. People and jobs will be little more than line items to be eliminated by a pair of misanthropic billionaires.

Yes, it’s scary how Trump has invited two egotistical billionaires to cut the federal budget. Who elected them?

”Who Elected Them?” May go DIRECTLY to the ♥️ Heart Of The Matter. There are many ways to launch a Coup d’état. January 6 Insurrection will pale in comparison to what is underway right now. DJT is installing a team of Democracy Destroyers. None elected but each selected to have at it in any way they see fit. No need for authorization or supervision. Every appointee can SWING AWAY until they are brought to a screeching HALT by real American Citizens.

Maybe his real problem is that Scott is giving away her money without requiring recipients to plaster her name on buildings or programs and giving her undue influence on what they do.
Apparently no charitable donation is charitable if the donor doesn’t get significant pr value in return, the value that allows one to have improper influence on policies based on what they think is good for them.

Unlike many other donors, McKenzie Scott gives money with no strings attached to organizations that never applied for a grant. She has a team that selects the recipints. They get a surprise phone call informing them that they will receive a large gift.
I wish they would discover NPE.

My guess – Elon and Donald Trump. Be careful, Elon. If someone gets in Trump’s ear and tells him people like you better than him, and reminds him how much richer you are – that could spell trouble for you. You never know what a malignant narcissist in severe mental decline will do.
