President Biden spoke today in Pennsylvania.
He fumbled a few words, as most of us do every day.
But it’s very clear that he is sharp and energized.
It’s a good speech, no doubt written by a speechwriter. But you can see him interjecting asides. He is not senile. He is not afflicted with Alzheimer’s.
He’s terrific.

Yes, Biden is traveling around the country to view and provide assistance to the areas ravaged by the hurricanes and tornadoes. He’s totally capable, with it and speaking quite well. Not even close to being senile, he’s still effective and performing his duties as president.

A friend told me recently that Biden is experiencing extreme dementia and Alzheimer’s and cannot communicate with other. “Completely gaga,” she said. I will never persuade her that she is wrong. She heard it on Fox News.

What your friend heard on Fox has also been reported in the very liberal New York magazine and many other places. Thousands of liberal readers of the NY Times submitted comments to the NYT saying that Biden’s cognitive decline was obvious. You damage your credibility by denying what is obvious to 90+% of people.

There’s only one candidate in cognitive decline: Trump. You can see it in every speech, interview and public event. Why did he cancel 60 Minutes? CNBC? Why no second debate? What is he afraid of? Do his managers know how crazy he is?

Hi Diane: I think you are right; but I also think the Biden optics, which are still there, would have hindered his election potential.
Part of what rattled Trump was that he was apparently all set to run against Biden, and then that fell apart, especially the age thing. If Biden had actually planned it, he couldn’t have done it better.
Knowing Trump, the fat lady hasn’t sung yet, but he apparently was really rattled that his minions cannot cheat in Georgia or apparently Virginia either, though I’m unclear on the latter. CBK

Biden made a good speech in Philly. His remarks had a beginning, middle and end, unlike Trump who held a town hall in Pennsylvania. Trump ordered his tech crew to put on music after two ill people at the event were given care. Trump and dog killer, Kristi Noem, then began to bop around to the music for more than a half hour in what looked like a weird dance party at the rest home. Biden will go down in history as a great president. He took over in the middle of the pandemic, which Trump botched. Trump advised people to inject bleach or to take unproven drugs. Thousands of Americans died because of Trump. The one thing he did right was to invest in the rapid creation of vaccines, but when face with hostility to vaccines, he failed to promote them.
Biden saved lives by following the science.
Trump called climate change a hoax, ignoring the disastrous effects of climate change. Biden is spending billions to mitigate climate change.
Biden has supported Israel but tried to rein in the war-loving Netanyahu. If Trump is elected, he will give Bibi permission to kill at will. His biggest contributor is Miriam Adelson, Israeli-born widow of billionaire casino owner Sheldon Adelson. Trump is Netanyahu’s insurance policy.
Trump is a crook, a liar, a racist, a misogynist, a fascist who threatens to arrest his critics.

No murders were lower than every year (by multiples ) all the way back to 1960 when there were 482 numbers. , The average of index crime is also lower than those years.
