This is a tweet compilation of misogynistic comments by Trump supporters. They are the American Taliban. They really do despise women.
If you are able do open it, please do. You will find it shocking and terrifying. It is a stream of nonstop hatred for women.

My friend has something to say to these incels [NB: Not safe for some workplaces]:

They can’t win, can they? I will watch tomorrow and hope that Kamala makes enough points to win at least some of the undecideds. Just knowing that even if we do win, and even if these people DO crawl back under their rocks, they are still out there. Fomenting hate and division and outrageous theories and lies. I guess I was a bit naive before 2016. I knew there were people like this, I just didn’t know there were so many. And now they all have a platform, and they have all the permission they need to come out from the shadows. It’s chilling.

When I was a young man, college age, I went down to the garage to get something. A local blowhard came in complaining that it was a bad day, listing the arrest of James Earl Ray as one of the downers.
So when Trump signs started showing up in people’s yard, I was not surprised. Both that guy’s sons have Trump signs.
And yes. Unsurprising as it is, it is still chilling.

I don’t think they will win, not if the past really is prologue to the future –and I do strongly believe it is. There are just too many people out there now who are aware of the issues and who are onto tRump, his lies, his crimes and his cult of crazy bullies that emulate him, including young people, as well as suburban moms who want no part of that anymore. Most parents don’t want to raise a spoiled brat who thinks only of himself, makes fun of others, doesn’t listen and says, “Well the President does it!”

Notice the younger ones, e.g. Fuentes. I think Maga will recede once Trump is gone—it is such a personality based movement and I don’t think anyone else can carry that mantle. But there is an even nastier thing coming behind him. Angrier and more confrontational. Whether that’s marginalized or mainstreamed will tell the next chapter of the GOP, post-Trump. The new Woke Right have been raised on this diet and they are insane.

Yeah. I think Coke Head Donnie Jr. and Eric the Red [faced] have zero future in politics. But then I thought that Reagan, who thought that Social Security was a Communist plot, and Bush, Jr., who was a career coke head and alcoholic who evaded the draft and drove several businesses bankrupt, and Trump, who is a career con man and predator, as well as being afflicted with Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder and a pathological liar, didn’t have a chance of being elected President.

Those men are just itching for war on all levels. Some folks are too ignorant to be able to learn that it’s not the self-serving who have influence, rank, power and brawn that are the winners in this world, it’s the people with humility, brains and heart –especially compassion for those with less power than they have– who are ultimately successful. It’s why the allies and not the axis nations won WWII. There are many documentaries about this, but maybe they could learn from a movie that’s a bit more on their level, such as “Me and the Colonel” located here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy8_bLAWitVroPwcedrK-MkHfC_oUeL96

Callisto: I think you are right, and to take it further, even one’s mother is/was a mere necessary convenience.
But with that in mind, I think that like many things human and even alive, male dominance has been around so long in history, that it is even baked into the relationship between one’s biology (cells and neurons, etc.), one’s psychic comportment, and one’s habits of mind–which means it’s extremely difficult expose and expunge, even if one wants to. To change, however, takes consistent and long-term development, coupled with examples of good and personal leadership, and a conscious effort to change (like ridding oneself of one’s racism when one grew up with it.)
If that’s the case, or some gradation of it (in this case, about misogyny), then what you or I might think of as relatively innocuous ideas of equality, freedom, or even justice for all, including for women or (fill in the blank), at least politically and socially, is interpreted by unchanged males, even at the feeling level, as a threat to their very existence. The interior logic goes: If women are equal, then I am nothing. In the face of such fear, women become that which needs to be killed or at least suppressed (like with the Taliban), or personally ignored (like when someone glazes over when a woman speaks in a group).
The driver is not a ho-hum abstraction or merely changing conceptual forms, but rather existential fear.
The election, in this case with Harris in the running against (the proven misogynist) Trump, will tell us just how civilized we are. CBK

I didn’t open this, but none of it would surprise me. These people HATE women-specifically they hate women who want to live as full human beings, with possibilities to work outside thr home, to be educated, to simply make their own decisions.
Trump, Vance and their associates view women as playthings, to be discarded whenever they tire of them, and a newer, younger, tighter model becomes available.
I subscribe to Jessica Valenti’s newsletter
about abortion and reproductive health. She covers the misogyny, religious zealots and contempt that forced birthers routinely display toward women.

I know it’s too late now before the November election comes to be able to pass the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact in states that haven’t signed onto that yet, and if it’s too challenging to make it illegal for convicted felons to run for office, too, as most Americans probably think it should be, then making it so that convicted felons can’t get Secret Service (nor hire on-the-job-private-protection) might at least prevent felons from running for or taking office as POTUS. There’s got to be more than one way (i.e. winning the Electoral College, especially in swing states) to prevent tRump from taking office as POTUS again, especially if he loses the popular vote –like he did TWICE before now! And I think he adores having Secret Service not just because he thinks they saved his life recently, but because they make him feel like he is still the president.

BTW, it reeeeally disturbs me that tRump has gotten away with breaking the emoluments clause so much, both from foreign dignitaries who spent tons staying at his hotels, such as in DC, and from overcharging the Secret Service that stayed at many of his locations whenever they were protecting him AND his family. (Ya have to wonder if he’s still doing that, too.) Yes, and I think you may be more right than we know: “Supreme Court dismisses emoluments cases against Trump” https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/25/politics/emoluments-supreme-court-donald-trump-case/index.html
So DOJ has a policy stipulating they couldn’t charge him for breaking any laws while he was in office, and afterwards SCOTUS told Congress it was too late because he was no longer in office. And then SCOTUS ruled he has immunity for what he did in office that were “official acts”. Influence peddling goes both ways, so maybe he didn’t just take money, but gave it, too, such as to buy key people in the GOP, including those on SCOTUS. He probably would have laundered it first, like maybe through his sons. I wonder if the NY court monitor could detect that, or if she knew what to look for? OMG!

Our federal government is shot through with corruption, on both sides of the aisle.
Consider this: when the Epstein case broke for the second time, it was widely reported that all his mansions were wired with cameras, still and video, connected, in each case, to a server room where the images and videos were stored.
What happened to all that stuff–too all those images? They have magically disappeared.
And this:
Shortly after he went to jail, there was an attempt on Epstein’s life, but even after this failure, according to the official story, security for his cell was so lax that he was able to commit suicide. BTW, there is a Christmas ornament you can buy with Epstein’s picture on it and the inscription, “This ornament did not hang itself.”
And this:
The only people invited to testify at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial were ones whose stories had already been leaked to the press. No one else who could have named names of Epstein’s clients was invited to testify.
And this:
The official story is that Epstein earned his money on Wall Street, but no one on Wall Street recalls him doing big trades.
And this:
The press stories about him accept with breathtaking brazenness the story that he committed suicide.
And this:
Epstein’s manifests and little black book are bipartisan affairs featuring a) extremely powerful politicians, b) royalty (actual freaking royalty), c) captains of industry, d) famous public intellectuals with tenure at major universities, and e) a smattering of pop stars
It’s all been made to disappear. Poof. Like magic.

Great points, Bob! I’ve seen pics of tRump with Epstein & young girls, too. Which reminds me… The guy who thinks he’s highly skilled at “The Art of the Deal” could probably launder his money through people like Putin et al, so it wouldn’t be traced as easily, and/or he could do it in different states…

When Trump’s casinos in Atlantic City were going belly up and he was about to lose everything, no American bank would lend to him. So, he went to Moscow. And suddenly Russians started showing up at Trump properties all over the world and buying condos and homes for cash. And Deutsche Bank, which had enormous deposits from Putin’s siloviki, gave Putin’s dog, Donnie, a billion-dollar loan that saved him, because, you know, banks love lending billions to bankrupt persons.

Yeah. Hilarious and true. Trump could no more write a book than he could fly by catching the wind in his blonde troll-doll hair.
Oh, and Ted Sorensen wrote the book that John Kennedy won the Pulitzer Prize for.
I’ve done a bunch of ghostwriting myself. Many years ago, a book that I ghostwrote got a glowing review in the New York Times Book Review. That was bittersweet. Great that they loved it. Disappointing that no one would ever know I had anything to do with it. ROFL. There has been a lot of similar stuff in my life. I introduced the term Critical Thinking to teachers nationwide in a textbook series that I planned, edited, and wrote large parts of. Same with Bellwork. Same with the use of rubrics and models for grading composition. But almost no one knows that I had anything to do with these matters. None of these had my name in them except as a contributing editor. ROFL. Aie yie yie.

Why are they so afraid of him? If it’s because he’s intent on retribution, then they should privately NOT vote him, because he’s never going to know that. And even if he wins the Electoral College (God forbid), he’ll never be able to put 81 MILLION voters who can’t stand him in jail. (In case he does win, I’ve been trying to figure out how I could possibly afford to move to another country.)

Good for the Twitter community for calling out CNN! Weren’t they the ones that allowed tRump to spout lie after lie without fact checking or contesting him in the last debate? They also frequently referred to that 2020 election denier as “President,” when Biden was the only President up there. I’m sooo tired of the MSM letting tRump slide, because that just empowers him and perpetuates his treacherous behaviors. Hope that doesn’t happen again tonight on ABC!

Why do we even have such laws as the emoluments clause or the Hatch Act if people (using the term loosely) like Trump are able simply to ignore them? If they can violate them blatantly and never be charged?
But if a black man tries to sell cigarette singles on a street corner, you better believe that the police will show up immediately. And just to show how efficient they are, they will render a verdict and punishment (capital punishment) on the spot.
