This is an extraordinary clip that shows Biden and Trump speaking without a teleprompter or notes. Biden was asked a question by a reporter, off the cuff. Trump was speaking at a rally in Las Vegas when his teleprompter went off. First he rants about not paying the company that installed the teleprompter. Then he tells a story about visiting a boat manufacturer in South Carolina, where Trump asks him how dangerous it would be if an electric boat sank. Would he be electrocuted or would he be attacked by a shark? He points out that he is very smart because of his connection to MIT (an uncle taught there).

Sure. We should remember Shakespeare because he did such a good job putting in the vegetable garden at his house in Stratford.

you mean Stratford upon Avon? How did he plant a garden on a cosmetic company?

Of course, the town and district are both often simply referred to as Stratford. Interestingly, the town is Stratford-upon-Avon, whereas the district is Stratford-on-Avon.

“Stupid is as stupid does,” Forest Gump, not the actor but the character, who is about 10x smarter than Traitor Trump.
Hmm, maybe 10x smarter is not accurate. Should be at least 100x.
Forest Gump, not the actor but the character, didn’t know he was describing Traitor Trump and his MAGA cult with that statement.
Forest Gump by Winston Groom was first published on December 31, 1986. The movie was released in 1994.
What was Traitor Trump doing in 1986 or 1994 showing how “Stupid (Traitor Trump) is as stupid does”?
Trump filed for business bankruptcy four times: The Trump Taj mahal in 1991, Trump Plaza Hotel in 1992, Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts in 2004 and Trump Entertainment Resorts in 2009. SOURCE: American Bankruptcy Institute
During those bankruptcies, when Trump Inc wasn’t paying a lot of its bills, the traitor, as CEO of those casinos and hotels, kept giving himself 7 figure annual raises. Eventually, the banks refused to cooperate and loan Trump any more money to bail him out again if he didn’t step down and let them appoint a CEO to replace him.
“Stupid is as stupid does.” This saying suggests that people are not inherently stupid, but their actions define thier level of stupidly and how they should be judged.
In 2016, I watched the debates between the traitor and Hillary. My ears heard him say he’d never gone bankrupt. I fact checked that on the spot and learned the truth.

it struck me as I watched this msnbc clip that I was being schooled on how to talk to people about trump. If I watch Faux, I get schooled on how I should talk to p we pole who don’t think Biden is both dangerous and senile (frankly, he cannot be both).
Don’t we need to be talking about the republicans longtime desire to end social security? How about their adding trillion to the national debt under the trump tax cut? How about his throwing the Kurds under the bus? How about his negotiations with the Taliban that undermined any hope of orderly withdrawal from that republican disaster. How about the nomination of two justices that graduated from the same high school? How about …
Trump wants us to talk about him instead of how stupid his policies are.

Roy,
I’m guessing that if Trump were questioned about his policies, he wouldn’t remember what they were. Does he knew who the Kurds are? He will blame Biden for the disastrous exit from Afghanistan. His agreement with the Taliban (the Doha agreement) made the chaotic exit inevitable.
