We have heard a lot from Ron DeSantis and his friends about their wish to protect children from “grooming.” They say that sexual predators are trying to “sexualize” children.
Instead of attacking hardworking teachers, the governor should ban child beauty pageants.
Florida is the epicenter of these child-exploitation events.
Look at the children in the photos: they are being groomed to be sex objects! They are being groomed to satisfy the lust of pedophiles!
How can DeSantis rant about grooming and WOKEness while ignoring an industry devoted to the sexualization of little girls?

Diane with more 1/2 truth lies. Trump was not friends with Epstein. He kicked him out over 20 years ago Unlike the Clintons, obamas and hundreds of celebrities who were on the Epstein flight log, Trump was not. Just like Oprah was sooo close with weinstein like Mikelle Obama was.

I actually sent this piece to a friend who sent me stories about NYC funding a Drag Queen story hour. He no longer talks to me, since I pointed out on Good Friday that his grand children were safer with a drag queen than a priest. He than retorted something about Rabbis to which I had to forward him a photo of the latest cover of Church and State. If Descuzziest went after the child beauty pageants, he would lose by a landslide. All the pedophiles in Floriduh would stay home on election day.

Pedophilia represents a vanishingly small percentage of criminal activity, at least from the point of view of law enforcement. It is an abomination, but it’s also a handy false accusation to bandy about in the political arena. “Kinky Boots” DeSantis hopes to ride into the White House on the back of the current hysteria. This is very, very dangerous.
What makes this current obsession any different from the hysteria of the 1950s over communism? Well, it is a much worse thing to accuse your enemies of. And it’s so easy to hurl at someone, precisely because it is such a loaded, devastating charge.
Anyone who lived through the Satanic Panic of the 1980s and early 1990s should remember the hysteria that gripped the law enforcement and psychological communities, the multitude of false accusations, the shattered reputations and lives of the innocent.
And we don’t seem to learn from any of it. I grew up not far from Salem, Massachusetts, where many died after hysterical, false testimonies. All of us grew up with the object lesson of Salem, and I hoped we were wise enough to develop a proper skepticism toward outlandish claims.
But I know we were not. We never learn. I believe the most powerful rock and roll song of all time is The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again”.
But we DO get fooled again. Over. And over. And over.
