A federal judge in Texas dismissed the GOP attempt to invalidate 127,000 votes cast at drive-in polling places. The judge was appointed by President George W. Bush. His decision may be appealed.
Steve Vladeck, CNN Supreme Court analyst and professor at the University of Texas School of Law, said the lawsuit fits a broader pattern of GOP-led lawsuits claiming voter fraud.

No doubt this and other lawsuits will find their way to dozens of trump-appointed jurists who claim to be originalists but who are actually political hacks.

I am confused by the Idiot’s insistence on a verdict tomorrow at midnight. As a devotee of “originalists,” he should know, in the time before telegraphs, that results could only be reported as fast as a horse could make it from place to place.

Oh so true. Unfortunately, Dump lives by the mantra of “repeat a lie often enough and folks will believe it.” It’s worse when an absolutely not-curious person says stuff and actually believes it himself because he’s never bothered to learn the truth, so whatever pops in his head is the truth by default. And folks believe it.
I’ve had a knot in my stomach half the day. it’ll probably be there at least the rest of the week.
Be well and virtual hugs to all. Be safe out there (can’t believe i actually have to freaking say that) and Vote!
