Thirteen-year-old Brayden Harrington met Joe Biden at a town hall in New Hampshire. When Biden learned that the boy stutters, he asked to meet privately afterwards. He told him how he had overcome his stutter and gave him some helpful,advice. Above all, he gave him hope and the confidence to speak to a national audience. His speech was filmed on a cell phone at home in New Hampshire.

I swear IF Alex Jones claimed that Brayden Harrington is a crisis actor or deep state agent: I’ll call his show with NO hesitation and I know what’s Alex Jones’ weakness was because once they called Jones a controlled opposition and that’s where his weakness was (in my opinion)! Because I know that Alex Jones muted people before like forever.
I’m proud of Brayden Harrington for having the courage at the DNC Convention and like I said, If Jones claimed that Brayden is a crisis actor or deep state agent, I’ll call him controlled opposition in return and Jones may mute me for defending Brayden.

As to the question posed, no I don’t think we’ll see a video at the Republican Convention of Trump performing a random act of kindness. We were, however, treated to a colloquy with a pair of upper-middle-class white suburbanites who pointed guns at peaceful protesters.
So there’s that.
trumpsy would make “fun” of that boy and be cruel. trumpsy is CRUELTY to the max. He did put children in cages and those cages are despicable and filthy.
I would like to see trumpsy and his enablers in those cages.
I taught gun safety to my middle school students for years. The wife clearly didn’t understand two of the key elements of gun safety. 1 never point a gun at someone or something that you aren’t ready to kill or destroy; 2 when using a hand gun, never put your finger on the trigger unless you are beginning to fire. Her finger was on the trigger and she was pointing it at the camera person.
You should check the internet about how this fine example of the Trump Party behaves.Check out their relationship with the synagog right next door to their home. These people fit right in with Demented Don, they are well known bullies.
Trump has performed many “acts of kindness” to which you remain intentionally blind. And, unlike Biden’s, Trump’s random acts are just that — random — rather than simply photo-ops.
Really? Name one. Like stiffing the subcontractors on his building projects? Or was it the time he ridiculed a handicapped journalist at a rally? Or could it be the belittling nicknames he created for anyone who got in his way?
Kind people don’t cheat others or ridicule others.

Mr. Waters, precisely the opposite is true. President Trump has an illness. You can look it up in the DSM. It’s called Malignant Pathological Narcissism. This is why, in every private briefing, as reporter by former members of his administration, in every press briefing, he can’t focus on the topic at hand but immediately turns the topic to himself. This is why, when we visits for photo ops, the victims of tragedies, his eyes glaze over and he looks beyond them as they start to tell their stories and then he interrupts them and begins talking about, again, himself. The entire world has watched this, day in and day out, for 3 3/4 years no, appalled. Such a person needs treatment, not four more years in an office in which this illness, writ large, becomes cruel, inhumane policy of the kind that makes those of us who post on this blog so aghast and so horrified at the prospect of what this sick man might do with four more years in office. He needs help, and so does the country, which cannot allow his sickness to be inflicted on everyone else for another term.
Some people with this disorder can encounter a young man like the one described in Dr. Ravitch’s post and know what they are SUPPOSED to feel. Trump can’t even do that most of the time, unless he is told what he is supposed to say and how he is supposed to act. It’s like colorblindness. Trump only sees Trump in every situation. It’s an illness he has. Unfortunately, it’s one that makes him unfit to lead a country.

Yeah, it was a good moment.
The day after that speech I was doing some phone calling on behalf of our Congress member’s reelection campaign. I had the most wonderful conversation with a humane, thoughtful 77-year-old gentleman I reached.
Moments like these sustain our faith in this country.
And, at other times, well, I rely on strong timber and portland cement. (Someone keeps stealing my Joe Biden signs.) So….I bought $43 worth of pressure treated lumber this afternoon and I’ll anchor my next Biden sign deep into the ground. And, if that doesn’t work, next up I’ve got a sheet of plywood ready to be painted.
The Trump National Convention is VERY slickly produced. A person from Mars would think, watching it, that Donald Trump is a champion of immigrants, working people, women, small business people, farmers, the poor, the sick, and so on. That he has a heart. That he cares about people. That he does random acts of kindness.
Who is the man they are celebrating? Certainly not the one in the Oval Office. In order to continue the con, Trump has to run as precisely the opposite of the person whom he actually is.
The four-day Trump commercial is doing a pretty bang-up job of presenting that other person, the one who is not our president.

Let us not forget the ultimate failings of Obama. He made everything he allowed Bill Gates to Manipulate public education. It was common core that came out in his tenure.

I would love to see either political party, or any candidate, take hold of our public education system and make it not such a cluster. Or maybe, just leave us all alone. He really needs to come out and admit that he wasted everybody’s time. We are still stuck with the remnants of all that crappy material and teaching In ways that are contrary to a children’s developmental level and common sense. I can’t believe how many years I had to Endure and continue to have to use his Ridiculous common core. And listen to all the district office people who drink his Kool-Aid train us all day on nonsense teaching of common core math and language arts programs. Yes, the Obama education policies and Arne Duncan were disasters of major proportions. Biden has promised to correct course. Once Trump is out of office and the White House has been fumigated, we shall have to hold Biden to those promises. This is our only current hope for a new direction in national education policy.
