The speaker is Yohuru Williams, dean of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul-Minneapolis. You have probably seen him on public television. He is an inspirational speaker.

It’s great that Williams will be coming to Indianapolis. The public schools in this state (where I once taught) have been seriously damaged by GOP governors Daniels and Pence with their consuming passion for diverting public funds to private schools through vouchers and their thumbing their noses at Article I, sections 2 and 4 f their state constitution. — Edd Doerr
