More alternate facts from Trump. He accused the media of not reporting terror attacks. To support his claim, the White House released a list of terror attacks that allegedly had been ignored or under-reported.
The New York Times responded by fact-checking the White House list.
What was interesting was that the White House list did not include terrorist attacks on Muslims. Nor did it include terrorist attacks by white supremacists, like the Charleston Massacre of nine African Americans by Dylan Roof.
Another ironic angle to this story: the Times recalled that British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher had criticized the media for paying attention to terrorists, thereby giving them the publicity they sought.

Terrorists are people who create and exploit terror.
The only terrorists who are not being reported as terrorists today are Trump and his Gang.

He’s setting the stage for scapegoats. Sadly, anticipating there will be an attack and getting himself in a position to say “I told you so” and blame media, dems, liberal educators, biased judges…
His playbook?
Media lies.
Judges are biased.
Bad people are everywhere.
Schools foster liberalism (and free thinking)
Those who do not agree are subject to retaliation.
He’s setting the stage so his blind obedient followers which include GOP Senators (how do they sleep) will only follow HIS NEWS OUTLET – his tweets – his version of Pravda. AND his curriculum (no science, no art, selective literature, no inquiry…)
“Right”and “Wrong” (and “truth”) will be determined by his attorney general.
Appeals about his ag’s biased decisions will be reviewed by his Supreme Court.
And it’s all the scapegoats fault.
And he’ll fund only indoctrinating schools and strip public schools of their mission of a critically thinking educated citizenry (just wait – he’ll go after the text books, social studies and English teachers – and “liberal” professors)
Dissenters will be hurt – stripped of funds – ridiculed.
He’s off the wall but not stupid. He’s producing a play(book) that already uses 1920 mob boss tactics and setting the stage for 1930’s Germany

I’m not even so sure that it’s Trump. I think he is most interested in his “brand” making money. And keeping his name out there, all day, every day.
I think it’s mostly Bannon (and maybe a couple of others) who are actually running things. Of course, Trump signs off on them, and I think he’s racist, sexist, and xenophobic, but he is not smart enough to focus on writing executive orders himself.
Okay, maybe “not smart enough” is not entirely fair. Let’s just say that he is not focused enough to do so.

Which comes first – 100 days as President or 100 Presidential lies.

Ironically, this refutation of Trump’s false claim presents a long list of terrorist attacks that seems to feed into Trump’s other narrative, that the world is not safe and we need to do some kind of extreme vetting to keep us safe.

Jonathan: I am not a psychologist; however, I have long-thought that Trump is what in the Alcoholics’ Anonymous literature is called a “disaster planner.” And he speaks to all of the other disaster planners out there.
That is, it’s one who thinks because it CAN happen, it NECESSARILY WILL happen. And of course, Trump feeds into everyone else who cannot think reasonably about such things, who do not know the difference between what they are thinking or believing, and what is real; and who cannot NOT know things that COULD come to pass, but need not. In other words, they are dogmatic and cannot stand the tension of real living; and cannot muster the courage to live in-between knowing and not knowing. In other words, they’d rather think they already know so the don’t have to feel the tension of not knowing.
Perhaps you’ll see the irony here–they don’t belong in a democracy where they/we are responsible for our actions and our leaders. They’d RATHER live in an authoritarian state.

Sounds right. His comments after Sessions confirmation is completely consistent with what you say. He said: (paraphrasing) criminals and gang members beware, your days are numbered.
How he plans to rid all communities in the U.S. of crime, short of declaring marshal law, or setting up a police state, I don’t know.

This BS, and the Ivanka/Nordstrom kerfuffle are just to cover up the disastrous raid into Yemen that the Rumpsters planned over dinner one night, These events are designed to pull media attention away from the other disastrous outocmes.
Reminder folks–a billionaire President just appointed a billionaire cabinet. During our history the uber wealthy hardly ever carry out the populist agenda that Rump advocated a few months ago. Look out for medicare, medicaid, and Social Security. They are coming for these programs, Resist now!
Rump, per dictionary = rear flank of a horse or other large animal.
