Trump refuses to believe the reports of the numbers who attended his inauguration. The Washington Post says that the president called the acting director of the National Park Service and put pressure on the agency to validate his belief that the crowd was the largest ever ever ever. Ever!
If everyone says so, maybe it will be true. Despite the photographs.

Mr. Acting Director should have no trouble validating his (Trump’s) belief.

What does every president prior to Donald have in common: They would never have done this. Whether we agreed with them or not, they focused on their jobs.

If Littllefingers Donald Trump is talking about a virtual reality crowd representing his alternative facts, then it can be as many people as he wants.
Maybe Trump spends most of his day out-of-sight of media cameras walking around wearing virtual reality goggles from Sony Play Station VR that show him only what he wants to see and hear.

DELUSIONS. He’s doing the same thing with the popular vote-count: Trying to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. The naked king wants to prove he is clothed, regardless of what everyone sees. He’s going to manufacture alt-evidence (in both cases) so that we all have to “believe” the ALT-reality that is a figment of his self-aggrandizing imagination aka: lies. He cannot be wrong, **on principle* and everyone must follow–or else?
And the Press, according to Bannon, should just “shut up and listen.” The ignorance and gall of that man knows no bounds. They are really having problems with (1) the Constitution, (2) the Bill of Rights (especially the First Amendment); and (3) the tri-part power system we live in. Trump thought he could just waive his magic wand (aka: TWEET) and VOILA! instant policy. He didn’t even realize that any new policy or changes of it needs to be vetted to be sure it doesn’t violate present law. Duh. . . . But we forget–he doesn’t think the law applies to him, nor does Bannon the Cannon.
But while Trump’s fantasy-land plays out with the votes and the attendance at the swearing-in, let’s not forget what’s going on behind the scenes of this yet another red herring.

Seriously? We’re going to make the Park Service spend its valuable time doing Trump’s bidding, stroking his delicate ego? Wouldn’t it be nice if the Park Service could work on … um …. preserving and maintaining our beautiful parks??

Job One for the Big Orange Clown in front of the GOP tent is to divert the rubes from seeing what the GOP is doing inside the tent.
So far, Trumples the Clown is doing a bang-up job.

Some give Trump the attributes of a holy idiot. Others insist he is devilishly strategic, constantly misdirecting attention with things he doesn’t care at all about while doing many other things in order to achieve a single goal.
He is neither. He is a simplistic, crafty, obsessive, narcissistic buffoon. But he is also our tar baby at the intersection of reality drama, money, power and influence.

That Trump has such a problem seeing and accepting the truth is evidence of his mental problems.
