An anonymous person sent a secret recording of a GOP closed-door discussion of repealing Obamacare and the political perils of not having a replacement. A new Congressman from New York worried about defunding Planned Parenthood. Not sure anyone agreed.

We should stop calling it Obamacare. It was a GOP plan from the beginning, created by the Heritage Institute and piloted by Romney. Let’s make it clear that the Republicans are hell bent on repealing their own plan.

This report reminds me of the “leaked” Romney tape that became headline news and did him as a Presidential candidate.
I assume the Washington Post, having has made these tapes public, will just infuriate the Trumpsters who think that the media are the enemy.
I think the Post has helped to affirm what most of us know: The Republicans have no clue about an alternative the Affordable Health Care Act. They are stuck with their hatred of all things Obama. Their petty decision to rebrand this legislation Obamacare has backfired.

I like this kind of leaked or undercover stuff. Better than any “expert” explanations.
The comments are pricless
Amazing.. 7 years and millions trying to defund and repeal ACA, and they never had any idea what they were going to do if they succeeded.?
Leaving poor people to get sick and die is just another way Republicans remind us that we’re a Christian nation.
Keep the leaks coming! Turn the faucets wipe open! make America clean again!
OK, lemme be fair: here is a devastatingly smart comment from the other side.
washington post=liar. fake news. they have no credibility. go away.

It’s amazing:
“Faso continued: “Health insurance is going to be tough enough for us to deal with without having millions of people on social media come to Planned Parenthood’s defense and sending hundreds of thousands of new donors to the Democratic Senate and Democratic congressional campaign committees. So I would just urge us to rethink this.” ”
Seems Faso is concerned because of the political implications, not those related to healthcare. What a guy!
