It takes only about three minutes.
This is a video about children. About kindness. About something so human that it needs no words.

The video itself in your post works for me, Diane. The link that you posted above the video does not.
This is such a beautiful video. Thank you, thank you for finding and posting it. We all need stories like this to give us hope.
It did make me cry, but “good” tears, really.

Is there a title for this video on youtube? I’d like to share it for world kindness day.

I don’t know the title. It was sent to me by a friend and I loved it. I assume it on YouTube but I can’t find it when I search.

World kindness day? It looks like we are about to elect a racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, con artist president. How does that translate into world kindness? I’m sorry. Even this wonderful video pales in comparison to what we have allowed to happen.

Was that what Isaiah was talking about in that part about a little child shall lead them?

Isaiah as well:
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.”
Isaiah 11:6
Actually, Isaiah pre-dates Gandhi by well over two millennia.

Diane, I am crying. Kindness matters.
Sadly our leadership is not about kindness, but about $$$$$, power over others, and perks … and so I weep more.
That film “got” to me.

this is related to the principle of the importance of play….public schools should not be stopped from letting kids be kids. Too much of living successfully has to do with cultivating natural instincts.

I can’t open this, either. Maybe it’s my region (Australia)? Could you please supply some key words so I can search for it rather than needing your link? Thanks.

Beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. I teach children at church whose parents are from the Sudan and some whose grandparents came from Mexico. Yesterday, we talked about hard times in our lives. I made a list on the board–home, school friends. The children aged 5 to 11 made great lists. One was when people die that we love. Well, unfortunately, our priest’s Mother died on Saturday. She was 95. I asked the children what should we do to show Father that we care? The 6 year old said, “Give him a hug and tell him we are sorry.” So when church was over, and Father was greeting everyone, that’s what they did. It was very heartwarming.
