Me, too. I can’t wrap my head around these Trump women surrogates who go on the news shows and excuse or try to explain away what Trump does to and thinks about women.
Good one. The fact he has so many supporters reveals the higher standards projected onto women when they run for the Presidency – an historically all male office. Further, her consistent work for women and children firmly places her in the “change” category yet, one of the memes against her is that she is more of the same.
Yet her opponent refers to women as pussies and brags about trying to “f***” them.
Where in all of this, when it comes to Trump supporters, is the commitment and respect for women and children? Vote for change. Vote Hillary 🙂
Diane, trying to figure out your thinking in posting that. If I posted a picture of Hillary Clinton looking rather overly-masculine, perhaps with some suggestion that she is a lesbian or bisexual, I’m sure you and many other people would find that sexist, homophobic, and in the worst imaginable taste. And you’d be right. I’ve seen that sort of thing floating around the Internet for years.
If the Trump campaign ran an ad like that, you’d be outraged.
Why is that nonsense you linked to not a violation of many of your own precepts and principles? Have we really gotten to that point where we’re so terrified by Trump that anything goes? Where was similar outrage when HRC’s camp was trying to destroy Bernie Sanders by any means necessary?
That’s my primary point in continuing to oppose Clinton worship and Trump hate. This clown is SO eminently beatable without having to roll in the mud with him. Every time people use the very tactics they decry when used against them, they become more like that which they profess to despise. Would you have tried to out-Nixon Nixon? Or would you have endeavored to reveal him for what he was? The McGovern campaign never found its voice and was crushed by the inevitable Nixon/GOP trip-hammer. But by ’74, Nixon was done and by ’76 we had Jimmy Carter. Too bad we didn’t appreciate him any more than it seems we appreciated Bernie Sanders.
The point of the ad is point out the double standard for women. How is that rolling in the mud? Oh and by the way, there’s also a double standard for African-American men. Could you imagine how far Obama would have gotten if he had fathered 5 children by 3 different women? That alone would have disqualified him. Or is that you are offended by the picture of Trump? True, it’s not flattering. His orange make-up suits him so much better.
Jimmy Carter was far too conservative and tried to sell out our country to corporate interests. He started the deregulation that led to a lot of our financial problems.
Oh yes, and Ted Kennedy ran a primary challenge from the left. Millions of voters, myself included, decided we could NEVER vote for a man as corrupt as Jimmy Carter and should instead vote for John Anderson, whose views were even more conservative. But he wasn’t that corrupt corporate sell-out Carter.
I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jimmy Carter was a corrupt man entirely in the pockets of big money. He didn’t care about anyone but rich people, which is why Ted Kennedy – a man who hadn’t completely sold out to corporate and banking interests like Carter did – garnered so many votes.
And we believed there was something corrupt about the process that prevented Ted Kennedy from winning. Ted Kennedy may have told us it was okay to vote for Carter — that he wasn’t the evil sell-out that we believed — but we knew better!
And history sure proved that we were right! Good thing a “real” truth teller like Reagan won. No harm done. None at all.
Very funny ad. I appreciate Bernie Sanders who supports Hillary and is urging us to vote for her. I voted for Bernie but he lost in NJ by a wide margin (37% to Hillary’s 63%). Mike Moore also urges us to vote for Hillary. Ditto Robert Reich and Noam Chomsky.
Assange is disgusting. He spends all his energy attacking Hillary, and says next to nothing other than that the “establishment” won’t allow him to be elected, and that the elites look down on the “white trash” he represents. If this is deep thinking, then I am Aristotle.
Yes, Assange does want the least qualified candidate in history to be elected. That is why he is hacking the DNC and not Trump or the RNC.
It is not Hillary he hates. He hates the U.S.
I don’t think the media should quote someone who steals from other people’s computer files. He is a thief, a man with no regard for anyone else’s privacy, and a man who thinks he should decide who wins the presidential election.
He is so venomous, so hateful, that I don’t find anything credible that he says.
May I remind you that Assange is seeking a refuge in Russia.
Yes, Assange hates America and his well-being is under threat by Russian leader.
I would not believe whatever Assange and Republican Party’s strategist Roger Stone reveal in public.
it is sad that intelligent and educated people will fall for Assange and Roger Stone.

I am sorry that I am not with your idea in Wiki-leak. May
No, he has been granted refuge by Ecuador. He has released over 600,000 “leaks” on the Russian government and it’s foibles. I doubt that he would be welcome there.
Assange is living in the Ecuador embassy in London to avoid prosecution on charges of rape and sexual assault in Sweden and extradition to the US where there re charges pending based on his hacking into government files
No question misogyny is a Republican party platform. What puzzles me is “Women for Trump”.

Robert F. Kennedy, Attorney General at the time, said this in an interview in Seventeen:
“Sure I would vote for a woman for president – if she were the best qualified candidate.”
That’s my view exactly – no voting for or against Mrs. Clinton because she’s a woman.
In this case, she’s not only the best qualified candidate, she’s the only qualified candidate.
