Remember that old Frank Sinatra, “Love and Marriage…go together like a horse and carriage.”
Mercedes Schneider discovered a web site whose purpose is to help charter schools manage their credit cards, which have been the cause of so many charter school scandals.

❤ that Mercedes!

Alas, taxpayers don’t have the data cloud that Schneider references.
Poor Ohio taxpayers. They’ve been sued again by a charter school- a shout out to our “progressive” Sen. Brown, who continues to wander in the halcyon land of charter schools.
I deduce that the case claims that charter school contracts don’t link payments to student attendance. “The agreement doesn’t say that students must attend 920 hours of class but that students must be presented with at least 920 hours of learning opportunities…” And, the contract states that the charter school’s employee is verifier of the information. (Jim Siegel of the Columbus Dispatch)
Will the same Ohio Supreme Court that gave taxpayer-bought assets to operators, now give them more tax dollars, for an employee-verified offer of service?
