He phoned in to the Boomer and Carton sports radio show on Monday joking it up with the hosts. He ended up being offered free tickets to an upcoming Ranger playoff game. It appears he has a great deal of time on his hands.
Trust me, we don’t care. We hate him. We can’t wait to get rid of him. We hope he goes into a private job and does the taxpayers no more disservice. He has cost us in NJ a fortune in food tabs, secret service, and defending the lawsuits against him. He is a turd and we hate him.
I do care! I live in the state of New Jersey. I’m paying his salary, his pension, his healthcare benefits, as are most people in this state.
He’s not been in the state of New Jersey for almost the entire year.
This is someone who hates pensions, paying for state worker healthcare, etc.
In the past, he’s pointed his finger in the face of teachers, in our state state and commented ” do your job” in response to questions he has been asked about education.
Well, I’m expecting him to do HIS job or be removed from his position as governor.
Thanks for the Borowitz link, Diane. He’s a hoot! (Want to read the other articles listed, as well.)Too bad Christie’s seeking the POTUS nomination did not result in his resignation (as Rubio did) or that he was at the end of his term (like Jindal–yahoo for you LA readers–I always read Gambit when in NOLA, & I know how much people were counting the days till he was gone {& congrats on the election of Bel Edwards & his pull back from all those terrible cuts made by Jindal}).
Also, didn’t you all just love how he was following Trump around (as my husband put it, like some sad dog after his master), standing behind him at rallies, & following him out of the plane.
Guess he needs a teacher to yell at & put his pudgy finger in her face. That might take off the hangdog look that we saw most recently. &, no, can’t imagine he’d be anyone’s V.P. pick.
If only it were true! He may have slipped off the radar of the national media where the horse-race style coverage of the election is all they can talk about, but Christie is actively at work using classic obstructionist tactics to destroy public sector unions and Atlantic City government in the process. He was down here just last week trying to put in effect a state takeover of Atlantic City which would involve the tearing up of the contracts of all public workers, including police officers, firefighters, teachers, support staff etc., etc.. And the mayor of Atlantic City is a Republican, the kind they don’t make anymore- reasonable, intelligent, articulate, with a strong sense of civic virtue and without a corrupt thought in his mind. But, ah, yes, he happens to be openly gay and wears a bow tie, so there’s not much of a chance of a bromance with the homophobic bully who thinks he’s a cast member of The Sopranos. We continue to root for our beloved city by the sea, and especially for the hard working people who keep it going, people whose fondest wish would be the demise of Chris Christie.
Bob Braun’s Ledge 4/16/ ” naming Walter Timpone, a crony, to the state Supreme Court. Timpone, it turns out, owes and paid back–big time–Christie’s sweetheart in Essex County, Joe DiVincenzo, for getting Timpone’s kid a public job. Sort of the way Christie repaid DiVincenzo by getting Joe D’s kid a $94k public job at the little shop of political horrors, otherwise known as David Hespe’s state Department of Education. I don’t believe New Jersey is necessarily more corrupt than any other state–it’s just that the corruption of our leaders is so tawdry it’s embarrassing.”
To New Jersey? I mean, no one would think to look for him there!

Christie is on the Food Network Channel with his own cooking show. He usually features his constituents as items on the menu.
