Also a newspaper article showing that public opinion strongly supports the union over Rahm.

That was a dramatic video. If the corporate public education demolition derby doesn’t back off—meaning Bill Gates, The Waltons, the Koch brothers, hedge funds and a few other billionaire oligarchs don’t stop funding this tragic nonsense—in time we could see this happening in cities coast-to-coast across the U.S.

Plunderbund, the few remaining news organizations in Ohio, reports Rep. Roegner and Sen Lehner have been working on bills to penalize teachers, counselors, and administrators who “negligently suggest” a student opt out of standardized tests. Incredibly, these legislators will 1) pull the license of a teacher, 2) terminate their contract, 3) charge them with a criminal act based on heresay. Both are members of the Republican party now controlling Ohio. Perhaps this is what Kasich meant by “breaking the backs” of teachers. I sympathize with CTU.
