This is an amazing thing-a-ma-jig.
Reader Susan Schwartz sent it to me a long time ago. I decided to save it and share it with you as a Christmas present.
When you open the link, you will see a vast crowd. You can click on it and enlarge the image, click on it again and again, and pick out any face in the crowd, and in a few seconds, the face is completely recognizable, down to small details. It is an astonishing technological feat.

I don’t think Diane meant “completely recognizable” as in you would know them personally. It’s a matter of taking a huge, faceless crowd and being able to zoom in on one individual to the point that that individual is completely identifiable.
It’s the technology our government uses for surveillance and terrorist tracking.

Amazing technology. In the early years of the war in Iraq I recall hearing a news report that said a satellite camera could pick up the image of a glove on the desert. At that moment I clearly understood that humanity could rapidly develop and implement sustainable, clean, and safe energy if only we had the will.

Liberal Arts with creativity in writing, play, and music are to cultivate young citizens with appreciation for human conscience, civilization and democracy. STEM is to make life comfortable and convenient. Business is to support STEM and to protect citizens against natural disasters.
However, those academic experts use their knowledge to enhance business tycoon to harm, and to cheat innocent people into modern slavery mode. Since air pollution will kill all, those rich people need to protect themselves by clean air through public tax money. But, foods, water and medicine are controlled/abused by manufacturing modification.
What would be educated resolution in year 2016? Yes, it would be being healthy, being open minded, and keeping up with learning and sharing . Please let the universal law of Karma to take care all injustices, so that we can be healthy and happy without anger. May.
