Some journalist in Louisiana celebrated the victory of pro-privatization, Common Core-supporting candidates in the election for state board of education seats. This guy gloated that his side won, buoyed by the support for f $3.5 million added to the race, mostly by out-of-state billionaires.
This guy seems to love that democracy has been outsourced in Louisiana.
He confuses me with Bobby Jindal. Mercedes Schneider points out that he doesn’t know what he is talking about. [https://deutsch29.wordpress.com/2015/10/31/pulitzer-prize-winner-thinks-ravitch-is-jindal/]

I am not a fan of Jindal, but I had to wonder what this “journalist” was smoking when he compared you and Jindal. What I found incredibly ugly, though, was his back handed swipe at Jindal’s name change. I see no reason to bring up Jindal’s Hindu heritage and name other than to make sure everyone is aware that he is a wannabe American and not truly a worthy citizen of Louisiana. Just the kind of example of sterling journalism this country needs.

Totally racist and xenophobic … not to mention irrelevant.
And this guy actually won a Pulitzer?
The Pulitzer committee should retroactively rescind his award.
No doubt if Jindahl’s views had aligned with this journalist, no mention would have been made of his ethnicity or name change.

For some reason, the link to Schneider’s post in Diane’s text is not clickable. Here’s the clickable version https://deutsch29.wordpress.com/2015/10/31/pulitzer-prize-winner-thinks-ravitch-is-jindal/

He can’t help but go back to bash Jindal repeatedly in the article. He clearly hates Jindal, and anybody who remotely agrees with Jindal gets from this hatred.
