The Rights of the Children
An education is the right for us, the children
And even now here in the USA
More than half of us don’t have enough clothes or food
Please don’t test our educational rights away
Don’t fire those teachers who are on our side
Please don’t make them go away
Just because we couldn’t get those very high scores
Testing us doesn’t help us learn more
Testing us more doesn’t increase our scores
An education is our ticket to our future lives
So our kids won’t come home to what we do now
An empty home, an empty house
No one to help us study or do homework
Because our parents have to work hard and long
They do not care about tests, but they care what we learn
Please don’t test our educational rights away

I am a very simple person. I follow rigidly FOUR guiding PRINCIPLES without any MISUNDERSTANDING OF the definition of word usage.
I hope that people whether they are young and old, and whether they are at elementary or PhD level of education, they all should learn by heart that:
DO NOT quickly believe in the saying from:
1. People with authority, scientific knowledge, and wealth (due to THEIR OWN gain)
2. People with old age, claimed to be a Wise-man (due to HIS LUST for control and power)
3. Any written old testaments (due to it is possibly fake or speculative)
4. Any mystery, unfounded truth, and lack of proof of science (due to rumor or legendary).
Also, people need to thoroughly recognize their own CAPABILITY = LIMIT in their own body, mind and spirit STRENGTH. This will shape the mutual-respect, care and share each other boundary within MULTICULTURAL DIVERSITY SOCIETY.
This brings us to understand WHY someone’s garbage is someone else’s treasure or vice-ca-versa.
If Dr. Ravitch’s signature represents for 17 millions of viewers who mostly agree with her, then WHY should Dr. Ravitch agree to sign your petition while I can see too much FLAW in your suggestion?
Please remember that those Edu-DEFORMERS very skillful in deforming your suggestion. For instance: Charter, $tudent$ fir$t, …On the top of all, we are dealing with multicultural society, all of your amendments will serve as loop-holes to be abused and twisted to the GAIN for all BAD POLITICAL groups.
Please KEEP IT SIMPLE to the point of HUMANITY with responsibility, accountability for all consequences by following through the transparent protocol/procedure of all aspects that are related to the well-being of many upcoming generations in a great nation where the spirit of liberty is protected and maintained by all concerned and reponsible citizens regardless of races and classes. I support the rights of children to receive a comprehensive education without high stakes tests that serve no purpose. However, when the government allowed public education to be monetized, they put a price on the head of American children. Unless the laws change and there is legislative support for public education, the attacks will continue. We need some grassroots support and aggressive challenges in the courts if we are to protect children from corporate exploitation.
