What an inspiring video! NYC is so lucky to have a mayor willing to do the right thing by its youngest citizens. What happened to that kind of public duty in so many of our city halls and school board rooms when it comes to education?

Unbelievably affecting and incredibly effective. Whoever made this has their finger on the pulse. Now… how do we ensure that Mr De Blasio and his brain trust actually *see* it?
If ed activists in this town want to help shape the dialogue and policy for the next 4 years, NOW IS THE TIME to speak up. For the next 4 years, no one in power’s going to be listening with the same degree of receptivity with which they are listening right NOW.
