Just like those creepy dating sites. All lies and broken promises and your dream “date” turns out to be a psychopath!

Yup! Marketers, MBAers. Lawyers, and the Pentagon and the yahoos in DC are watching for opportunities to make our young compliant and non-questioning students. IT’S THE HUNGER GAMES! And “may the odds be with you.” Anyone agree?

Shyster, I hope they start speed dating soon. You know, go work for a few weeks and then try another charter, and so on. Just think, by the end of the year you are bound to find “the perfect match”. Uh oh, the divorce rate for these matches must be high. The turnover rate at charters is extremely high. I guess love doesn’t last forever!! (I laughed the whole way through this article)

Absolutely brilliant article! I chuckled all the way through it, signed up, and got too disheartened to complete my “dating” profile. Like many good ideas, it sounds good on paper but disintegrates in use.

Well that was fun! I too thought this was a joke until I went there and registered…now I know it is a joke, although a sad one. I qualified to be an office assistant, a principal, a physical education teacher, Russian teacher, and a Manager of Culture and Discipline (???) . I actually am a high school physics and chemistry teacher!

Hysterical!
I think TFA, with its 5 week intensive training program, should consider speed dating. . .
I needed a good laugh. The laugh is mightier than the sword.

One could really not make this stuff up! This is what happens when people who although well intentioned, simply are not educators, but rather eduhacks with none of the intellectual sensibility (and sensitivity) needed to educate and create meaningful school cultures. The takeover of education by the business and political barbarians is reaching its zenith – its got be going downhill sometime soon!
