Bob Braun unravels a very odd story about a principal who disappeared, went missing without explanation from the central office, then mysteriously reappeared.
It couldn’t happen in Short Hills or any affluent white suburb. But it did happen in Newark. Read his post to the end.

It is astonishing, but then, as Ihave been saying forever, the people who run the schools are LAWLESS.. because there is not a shred of accountability under the laws governing civil rights. They can do anything short of murdering an employee, and I would not put that past them if they imagined they could get a way with it…

In his discussion with Campbell Brown, New Jersey Governor Christie let this one go regarding how easy it is to decide which teachers should be fired, and separated from their students.
Why it takes all of ten minutes!
(21:13 – 21:54)
(21:13 – 21:54)
CHRISTIE (to the parents):
“Let me ask you a question, ’cause there’s a lot of people out here who care about education. When you go to ‘Back To School Night’, is there ever a doubt in your mind within ten minutes of getting in that classroom, whether that’s a good teacher or a bad teacher? Ever?
“You’re either in there going, ‘It’s gonna be a good year,’
” … or you’re… ‘Oh God. This is going to be a problem.’
“You don’t need a PhD in education to understand this (i.e. decide which teachers should be fired). If we (parents) can figure it out in ten minutes, then why can’t we have a tenure system that holds teacher to account, and that has parents understanding that they (parents) can have an impact on that, too.”

Could you imagine if a teacher saying the same thing… that a teacher can tell within ten minutes whether a parent is unfit, and thus, should have their child taken away by Child Services?
TEACHER: (to the teachers):
“Let me ask you a question, ’cause there’s a lot of people out here who care about education. When you go to “Back To School Night”, is there ever a doubt in your mind within ten minutes of meeting a parent whether that’s a good parent or a bad parent? Ever?

From the article: “The place was reeling, especially because Hawtorne had to take in students from the nearby Bragaw Avenue School which the Cerf/Anderson team did give to their old friends at TEAM Academy charter schools (we did mention the business connection between Cerf and Carden, didn’t we?)…”
Wait, so TEAM Academy charter school took over a school and some of the students didn’t get to attend — the ones who were problems? And they were shipped to a different school?
Wow, is TEAM Academy copying the best practices of the “successful” charter schools? Get rid of the students who will score low and declare it is all about your “secret sauce”? Is there a successful charter school in the USA without an atrocious attrition rate? Is that why the charter industry is so determined to pretend attrition doesn’t matter, results with whatever number of students who are left — no matter how small that number is — is all that we are allowed to talk about. Lesson one in why I don’t trust reformers. If they were really interested in reform, they would WANT to look at why so many at-risk students leave, not be so desperate to change the subject and desperately prevent anyone from asking those inconvenient questions.

This will stop when ‘black lives matter.’ White suburbs so far are not treated with such police state tactics and unexplained disappearances and shameless contempt for students, teachers, and families. It may yet come to that unless a movement of parents and teachers refuse to let it continue.

I’ve read about far too many Charter Schools, which treat their students horribly. This is AWFUL.

This sounds very similar to the activities going on in the Adelanto School District, a public school district, before parents pulled the trigger for the first time in the nation’s history–a lot of secrecy, a lot of administrators disappearing with staff told not to ask any questions or to talk about it. These are all red flags for any employee considering work in cultures like these.

People need to STICK together to fight back for their rights.
In this post, teachers, parents ans students shall demand their conscientious principal, Mr. James to be back at their school, or else, all of them will definitely be on strike = no work, no teach, and no learn = no business.
Communist, fascist and terrorist plays the SAME game on INTIMIDATION and FEAR in order to divide people for an easy control.
Weak and timid, poor and uneducated, selfish and greedy people are easily intimidated to become submissive and slaves in order to live a miserable life.
I hope that all parents and students will learn fast how to unite with conscientious teachers and principal in order to REGAIN their local control for their school with their own taxpaying money. Back2basic

Of course it couldn’t. There isn’t an affluent suburb in the country that doesn’t govern its own schools. Dictators don’t have to explain anything.
