The Washington Post reports that Trump continues to proclaim that he will win, although he is 5 million votes behind Biden, and Biden has won the electoral college. The people around Trump are babying him, as they watch the lawsuits get tossed out of court. No one wants to tell him it’s over. In occasionally lucid moments, he talks about running in 2024, his aides say.
President Trump declared Wednesday on Twitter, “WE WILL WIN!” But, in fact, the president has no clear endgame to actually win the election — and, in an indication he may be starting to come to terms with his loss, he is talking privately about running again in 2024.
Trump aides, advisers and allies said there is no grand strategy to reverse the election results, which show President-elect Joe Biden with a majority of electoral college votes, as well as a 5 million-vote lead in the national popular vote.
Asked about Trump’s ultimate plan, one senior administration official chuckled and said, “You’re giving everybody way too much credit right now.”
Republican officials have scrambled nationwide to produce evidence of widespread voter fraud that could bolster the Trump campaign’s legal challenges, but no such evidence has surfaced.
And Biden’s lead in several states targeted by the Trump campaign has expanded as late-counted votes are reported. In all-important Pennsylvania, the Democrat now leads by more than 50,000 votes.

Trump’s Post-Election Tactics Put Him in Unsavory Company
Denying defeat, claiming fraud and using government machinery to reverse election results are the time-honored tools of dictators.

MOSCOW — When the strongman ruler of Belarus declared an implausible landslide victory in an election in August, and had himself sworn in for a sixth term as president, the United States and other Western nations denounced what they said was brazen defiance of the voters’ will.
President Aleksandr G. Lukashenko’s victory, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said last month, was “fraud.” Mr. Pompeo added: “We’ve opposed the fact that he’s now inaugurated himself. We know what the people of Belarus want. They want something different.”
Just a month on, Mr. Pompeo’s boss, President Trump, is now borrowing from Mr. Lukashenko’s playbook, joining a club of truculent leaders who, regardless of what voters decide, declare themselves the winners of elections.
That club counts as its members far more dictators, tyrants and potentates than leaders of what used to be known as the “free world” — countries that, led by Washington, have for decades lectured others on the need to hold elections and respect the result.
The parallel is not exact. Mr. Trump participated in a free and fair democratic election. Most autocrats defy voters before they even vote, excluding real rivals from the ballot and swamping the airwaves with one-sided coverage.
But when they do hold genuinely competitive votes and the result goes against them, they often ignore the result, denouncing it as the work of traitors, criminals and foreign saboteurs, and therefore invalid. By refusing to accept the results of last week’s election and working to delegitimize the vote, Mr. Trump is following a similar strategy.
There is little indication that Mr. Trump can overcome the laws and institutions that ensure the verdict of American voters will carry the day. The country has a free press, a strong and independent judiciary, election officials dedicated to an honest counting of the votes and a strong political opposition, none of which exists in Belarus or Russia.
Still, the United States has never before had to force an incumbent to concede a fair defeat at the polls. And merely by raising the possibility that he would have to be forced out of office, Mr. Trump has shattered the bedrock democratic tradition of a seamless transition.
The damage already done by Mr. Trump’s obduracy could be lasting. Ivan Krastev, an expert on East and Central Europe at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, said Mr. Trump’s refusal to concede would “create a new model” for like-minded populists in Europe and elsewhere.
“When Trump won in 2016 the lesson was that they could trust democracy,” he said. “Now, they won’t trust democracy, and will do everything and anything to stay in power.” In what he called “the Lukashenko scenario,” leaders will still want to hold elections but “never lose.” President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia has been doing that for two decades…
Michael McFaul, the U.S. ambassador to Russia under President Barack Obama and a frequent critic of Mr. Trump, described the president’s “refusal to accept the results of the election” as “his parting gift to autocrats around the world.”…

Republican lawmakers are plotting ways to expand and intensify their investigations targeting the former Obama administration and President-elect Joe Biden and his son Hunter, with Senate Republicans saying they will use the lame duck period to ramp up their probes.
“‘We’re not going to stop,’ Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said as he concluded a hearing this week on the FBI’s handling of its investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign’s ties to Russia — a probe the president has railed against for four years. ‘Because this is fundamental to democracy that the law enforcement community acts based on evidence, not based on bias.’”
So, the party of Trump will not be going anywhere soon. With only eight exceptions, Trump’s loyalists are playing his game of denial. Joy Reid properly named Trump’s once-Republican supporters….baby sitters.
Surely such a move on the part of state legislators would not hold up in courts, for while the Constitution does allow for faithless electors and places much power to determine election law with the states, the states, by precedent and in some cases by law, have already made their determinations about how electors are decided–they are to reflect the will of the people. A decision anywhere, to the contrary, would fly in the face of that bedrock principle of our representative democracy–that everyone’s vote matters.
Any court that would renounce that principle has renounced principles altogether and decided in favor of rule by raw, unchecked power.
Trump had better cut out the Big Macs and fries if he wants to last until 2024 and beyond.

Nov 11 (Reuters) – As President Donald Trump seeks to discredit last week’s election with baseless claims of voter fraud, his team has bombarded his supporters with requests for money to help pay for legal challenges to the results: “The Left will try to STEAL this election!” reads one text.
But any small-dollar donations from Trump’s grassroots donors won’t be going to legal expenses at all, according to a Reuters review of the legal language in the solicitations.
A donor would have to give more than $8,000 before any money goes to the “recount account” established to finance election challenges, including recounts and lawsuits over alleged improprieties, the fundraising disclosures show.
The emailed solicitations send supporters to an “Official Election Defense Fund” website that asks them to sign up for recurring donations to “protect the results and keep fighting even after Election Day.”
The fine print makes clear most of the money will go to other priorities.
A large portion of the money goes to “Save America,” a Trump leadership PAC, or political action committee, set up on Monday, and the Republican National Committee (RNC). Under Federal Election Commission rules, both groups have broad leeway in how they can use the funds.
The Trump campaign, the RNC and Trump’s new Save America PAC did not respond to requests for comment….

Nearly everyone was heartened by Pfizer’s announcement that its coronavirus vaccine works—but President Donald Trump reportedly flew into a rage upon hearing the news, and saw it as further evidence that he was somehow screwed out of election victory. According to The Washington Post, Trump flew off the handle at Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephen Hahn following Pfizer’s announcement and demanded to know why it came after the election. Trump called Hahn on Monday and was “screaming at him” about the early morning Pfizer announcement, a senior administration official told the newspaper. Although Trump has convinced himself the timing of the announcement was politically motivated, there is no evidence that Pfizer held back its data that showed the inoculation was more than 90 percent effective at holding back the virus.

A razor-tight Senate margin is complicating President-elect Joe Biden’s strategy for filling his Cabinet by making it more difficult to pick sitting lawmakers for plum posts.
Normally, members of Congress would be at the top of the list for an incoming administration looking to poach talent from the party’s ranks on Capitol Hill.
But with Biden wanting to move fast and control of the Senate in limbo until early next year, he’ll have to think twice before tapping congressional Democrats — a move that could open up a seat for Republicans to try to flip or tip the scales in a closely divided Congress.
If he ran in 2024, he’d be the first prisoner to try to run for presidency. I am quite sure, there is a law against it, but Rudy will surely attempt to help Trumptler overturn that law—especially if they are in the same cell.

INDIANAPOLIS – While Gov. Eric Holcomb has issued a face covering order for all Hoosiers in public, legislators are not required to abide by it.
As 150 lawmakers return to the Statehouse on Tuesday for Organization Day, officials in the House and Senate say masks will not be mandated for members. Separation of powers allows them to make their own rules.
But staffers and media in the chambers are required to wear face coverings.
The Legislative Continuity Committee has been meeting for months on how to have a safe 2021 session. It approved a report Thursday with no policy on masks. Instead it will be handled by leadership in each chamber.
Rep. Ed Delaney, D-Indianapolis, asked directly whether masks would be required to be worn by lawmakers, and Rep. Matt Lehman, R-Berne – third in command in the House – said members are “strongly encouraged” to wear them.
Lehman told The Journal Gazette after the meeting that masks will be addressed as part of the chamber’s dress code. But the exact wording has not been finalized. For instance, men are currently required to wear jackets and ties on the floor.

Hodges “gay marriage” ruling came down in 2015, Barack Obama said, “Justice arrives like a thunderbolt.” But, of course, nothing that defies the law of God is just, and Obama is a liar. Indeed, it can be said of Obama and all his election-stealing partners and their minions that they epitomize what Jesus said in John 8:44: “They] belong to [their] father, the devil, and [they] want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies.”
Lying is the language Big Media and Big Tech have been speaking almost exclusively since Trump became president: deliberate falsehoods, misrepresentations, distractions, diversions, suppression of dissent, amplification of false witnesses, accusations that truth-tellers are guilty of exactly the crimes they themselves are committing and multi-faceted, multi-dimensional coordination of this campaign within a vast network of co-conspirators. We are literally witnessing corruption of biblical proportions.
Nothing the devil does is creative. He can only spin counterfeit alternatives to what God has created and try to preempt God’s plan by putting his counterfeit out first, like Obama did.
BUT there is true “justice that arrives like a thunderbolt” on its way in the American culture war. And it’s about to strike!
Just this morning, former CIA intelligence analyst and strong Trump supporter Larry C. Johnson published a highly persuasive article suggesting that Attorney General Bill Barr is about to bring the hammer down on the crooks behind the election fraud. Conservatives have grown increasingly frustrated with Barr over the past months for what they perceive as a reluctance to take action on the obvious “alleged” criminal conduct of the anti-Trump conspirators. I agree, it would have been helpful politically for indictments to have come down on numerous individuals involved in the now-exposed conspiracy to defraud the FISA court and to sabotage the Trump administration – but that may be the exact reason why they haven’t happened … yet.
If the Justice Department is to tackle the biggest politically motivated criminal conspiracy in American history, it cannot itself be tainted with the perception of political bias in the administration of justice. Of course, nothing will prevent the left from insisting that the prosecution of their fellow travelers is political, but whatever fair-minded people are left in this country will almost certainly consider Bill Barr’s refusal to bring charges before the election as a pretty solid defense to that charge.
There’s also the reality of the “prosecutor worldview,” which the public doesn’t easily grasp. Veteran prosecutors who handle big criminal conspiracy cases – like Rudy Giuliani did in Mafia-controlled New York City in the 1980s – live in a world where there’s usually just one chance to cast their net, and so they want to ensure they catch as many co-conspirators as possible when they finally pull the trigger. As soon as they act, the whole network scatters like roaches into cracks and holes where they start destroying evidence as fast as possible.
Prosecutors also want the net to include the top crooks, who are usually masters at ensuring there is minimal evidence of their involvement. Getting the goods on them takes time.
In the matter of the Great Election Theft of 2020, the conspiracy is much, much bigger than what the Durham investigation uncovered, and it’s ultimate object – the theft of the presidency by voter fraud – needed to play out to fruition, which was technically today, Nov, 12, the last day (in North Carolina) of late vote counting of all the Democratic vote-by-mail counting extensions.
Today the conspiratorial effort – the crime itself – is complete as to the evidence of voter fraud in all of its myriad forms. There is certainly evidence still uncovered, but all the actors have played their parts, the crime is done, and it’s just a matter of tying the case together in one package. There will be additional crimes related to the inevitable cover-up and damage control efforts of individual conspirators, but as of now, the waiting game is over for the Justice Department.
There’s another aspect of this I want to highlight, and that is the “shock and awe” strategy of Donald Trump when it comes to proving his case to the public. I first explained it in my article “President Trump’s ‘October surprise’ party” relating to the Hunter Biden laptop scandals.
It works like this: First came the prediction of a MOAB (mother of all bombs) about to fall on the enemy (i.e., the announcement that Hunter’s personal laptop – filled with shocking material – was in the Trump team’s possession). Then a series of single-bite, lesser impact breaking stories hit one after the other like the first drops of rain in an imminent massing thunderstorm. These were bait to start all the leftist pundits jumping to Hunter’s defense on the grounds that the evidence was weak and meritless. Then came the coup de gras in the form of photos and videos so shocking and salacious they drew every eye in America to see the evidence for themselves – exposing the leftist media and tech giants as liars literally caught in the act.
Trump has set them all up again with the election fraud scandal: first a MOAB in the form of a vague but grand voter-fraud conspiracy theory, then a dribble of lesser pieces of evidence to lure in the spin-masters, then just in the past couple of days, the storm clouds have begun to open up. The deluge has just started. Mark my words – this storm will be huge, and lots of bad guys are going to be held accountable for their crimes and their lies.
So pop some corn, warm your feet by the fireplace (all ablaze with the burning ruins of the traitorous Fox News Corporation), and snuggle in for the lightning show of a lifetime. Justice – true justice – is about to arrive like a thunderbolt.
I recommend that from now on we say “outgoing president” instead of using the actual name of the guy. We’d all feel better plus we’d be more accurate, since he doesn’t act like a president anymore (and maybe he never has, but that’s beside the point), but a runner who already lost the race but he still has to cross the finish line in January not to embarrass himself and his fans even more by giving up early.
