According to the Washington Post, this video is a sensation in Saudia Arabia. Women in full regalia skateboarding and playing basketball. Not driving. Driving may lead to…
Does it suggest that women’s rights are on the horizon? Probably not.
Whats Trump doing in there? A symbol of male dominance? If you understand the lyrics, let us know.

Clearly, the video aligns Trump with the oppressive ruling House of Saud. Maybe it’s an anti Trump video rather than a women’s rights in Arabia video.

I lived in Saudi Arabia for one year. Forget about women’s rights. The function of a woman is to bear sons. Period.

The Saudis are just sore to see their $10 million investment in Hillary Clinton go down the tubes. Fortunately, they secured $29 BILLION in weapons deals while she was Secretary of State, knowing the weapons could and would end up in Syria (thank you Wikileaks).

Let’s open a window and let some light in with facts instead of misinformation.
Arms sales to other countries goes through a Congressional Review process.
“In general, the executive branch, after complying with the terms of applicable U.S. law, principally contained in the AECA, is free to proceed with an arms sales proposal unless Congress passes legislation prohibiting or modifying the proposed sale. Under current law Congress must overcome two fundamental obstacles to block or modify a Presidential sale of military equipment:”

Was there any attempt by Congress to block this sale?
Even if Hillary proposed the $29 billion in weapons sales to the Saudis, the sale still had to go through Congress.
Instead of spouting myths, prove they are true first.

Really, IBT is a reputable news source? No wonder Trump has so many deplorable, ignorant, misguided supporters; I’m not saying you are one, just an observation.
Reporting in 2014, Mother Jones claimed that IBT journalists are subject to constant demand to produce clickbait; one former employee reportedly complained that management issued “impossible” demands, including a minimum of 10,000 hits per article, and fired those who couldn’t deliver. …
“Media Matters for America, a politically progressive journalism watchdog, labeled an IBT article linking Hillary Clinton’s policies to the gun used in the Sandy Hook Massacre a “false and sloppy smear” that was based on a misreading of government documents.[15]
“Media Matters also criticized IBT for publishing an article with the headline “Is Climate Change Real? President-Elect Donald Trump Says ‘Nobody Really Knows’ Whether The Threat Actually Exists”, on the grounds that, while the article text acknowledges the scientific consensus, readers who only read the headline might be misled.[16]” …
“According to an article in Mother Jones magazine, in the early days of the International Business Times, IBT Media employed immigrant students of Olivet University to translate English into Chinese and other languages, working illegally and being paid less than minimum wage.[4]
“In 2016, employees complained publicly about missed payroll, meager or nonexistent severance packages following layoffs, and one-sided nondisclosure agreements.[18][19]” …
Co-owners Johnathan Davis and Etienne Uzac both have ties to Olivet University, an evangelical school founded by David Jang. Graduates of Olivet have been hired to work at IBT Media in many areas; IBT Media has donated money to Olivet. Davis is a former teacher of journalism at Olivet; Davis’ wife is the university’s president. Uzac has been on Olivet’s board of trustees; Uzac’s wife has been the press secretary for the World Evangelical Alliance, which includes Olivet as a member. Davis has personally endorsed the “ex-gay” view that homosexuality can be a result of sexually abuse as children, and can be cured by therapy to make them heterosexual. Davis states that his work is separate from his faith, and has declined to elaborate on his religious views on homosexuality, stating that it “I’m not sure how it’s relevant. People believe all sorts of weird things. But from a professional capacity, it’s unrelated.”[13]
“According to Business Insider, there are signs that Jang’s concept of journalism involves infusing the “Gospel message” into media.[20]”

Even when the scientific evidence is strong, Trump will say “no one really knows.”
He is the only one who knows. He is a very smart person and he will tell you so himself.

Another media source for people who want to be ignorant and misled.
In February 2015, having resigned after nearly 14 months, Ken Silverstein contributed an article on Politico about his time at First Look and The Intercept. “I went to First Look to do fearless journalism,” Silverstein wrote, “but I found I couldn’t navigate any journalism, fearless or not, through the layers of what I saw as inept management, oversight and editing.”[27]
The Intercept is an online publication launched in February 2014 by First Look Media, the news organization created and funded by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar.[3] The editors are Betsy Reed, Glenn Greenwald and Jeremy Scahill.
The magazine serves as a platform to report on the documents released by Edward Snowden in the short term, and to “produce aggressive, adversarial journalism across a wide range of issues” in the long term.[4]

A friend plays tennis with one of the editors of the Intercept. He describes this person as bitter and eager to discredit the U.S. on any and every ground. He will have much to work with over the next four years. Of course, they did their best to elect the most unqualified president in the history of the nation.

One fact that I’m starting to notice is that many, if not most, of these dubious often misleading fake online media/news outlets were launched after President Obama won his first election and most of them during his second term in the White House during the run up to the 2016 election.
It’s much cheaper to launch an alleged media news outlet than a print or broadcast one.
“Fake news websites (also referred to as hoax news[3][4]) deliberately publish hoaxes, propaganda, and disinformation, using social media to drive web traffic and amplify their effect. Unlike news satire, fake news websites seek to mislead, rather than entertain, readers for financial or other gain. Such sites have promoted political falsehoods in Germany, Indonesia and the Philippines, Sweden, China, Myanmar, and the United States. Many sites originate, or are promoted, from Russia, Macedonia, Romania, and the U.S.” …
“BuzzFeed News and The Guardian separately investigated and found teenagers in Veles created over 100 sites spreading fraud supportive of Donald Trump.”
“The Associated Press (AP) interviewed an 18-year-old in Veles about his tactics. He used Google Analytics to assess his traffic and over one week had 650,000 views. He plagiarized pro-Trump stories from a right-wing site called The Political Insider. He said he did not care about politics, and published fake news to gain money and experience. The AP used DomainTools to confirm the teenager was behind fake sites, and determined there were about 200 websites tracked to Veles focused on U.S. news. The AP reported the most fake sites were composed of plagiarism.”

Some more history also helps.
“After the Cold War the U.S.–Saudi relations were improving. The U.S. and U.S. companies were actively engaged and paid handsomely for preparing and administrating the rebuilding of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia transferred $100 billion to the United States for administration, construction, weapons, and in the 1970s and 1980s higher education scholarships to the U.S. During that era the U.S. built and administrated numerous military academies, navy ports, and Air Force military airbases. Many of these military facilities were influenced by the U.S., with the needs of cold war aircraft and deployment strategies in mind. Also the Saudis purchased a great deal of weapons that varied from F-15 war planes to M1 Abrams main battle tanks that later proved useful during the Gulf War. The U.S. pursued a policy of building up and training the Saudi military as a counterweight to Shiite extremism and revolution following the revolution in Iran. The U.S. provided top of the line equipment and training, and consulted the Saudi government frequently, acknowledging them as the most important Islamic leader in that part of the world, and key player in the U.S. security strategy.”
And yet, Hillary haters will take advantage of every opportunity to slam her and ignore everything else.

Go to the twitter hashtag page, #Hwages and you’ll see that authorities in S. Arabia are really not thrilled about this video. More than once I see the word “scandalized.” Well, good. I hope and pray our sisters (cause all women are sisters) in the middle east will see more freedom to grow, to be themselves, this year.
And Donald Trump appears to be an international symbol for the repression of females. Interesting. And true.
