And it’s a cross between Joseph Heller & Aldous Huxley.
Dear Diane ~
I agree with your readers and with Stephen Krashen. The amount of testing and the embedded high stakes of failure is designed to create this dystopian non-fiction we are all living through right now.
Who would have imagined this?
Where did these corporate megalomaniacs get their ideas?
In my opinion: The tools the corporate education “Deformers” are using to create this “dystopian non-fiction” life for all of us are straight from Edward Bernays “Propaganda”. (1928 )

The darkness of this corporate agenda, brought to us by a marriage of the neoliberals and neoconservatives, is something that every parent needs to know, along with every teacher, every administrator.
I agree with your other post – anyone with this knowledge must begin writing to their local papers, blogging, using social media, and meeting with community members to expose this agenda and stop it.
Thank you for helping bring awareness to so many daily. You can not do this alone, Diane. We all need to be writing and sharing this information to awaken the masses.
Look on the bright side. The more testing there is, the greater the opportunities to game the system, thereby imparting a valuable lesson in how to function in today’s complex society.
