Phyllis Bush reports on the latest turn of events in her battle with cancer.
She’s still winning but it’s not easy and sometimes, in Phyllis’s telling, it has comic moments.
Phyllis is a founder of the Northeast Indiana Friends of Public Education and a member of the board of the Network for Public Education.

Sending Phyllis BREATH. What a woman.

Amazing! wisdom, courage and capacity for humor. wowzie.
A big support group awaits you in Indianapolis.
FYI I inadvertently glued my fingers to the super glue container.
I have done this more than once trying to salvage a fingernail. There is a solvent, but it would probably burn like hell.

Phyllis, this post is a treasure! What an inspiring laugh we all needed!!
Makes me sorry I cannot come to Indy, for I would give you SUCH a hug that you’d be knocked off your feet (well, maybe, then, it’s lucky I’m NOT coming; that could be a bad thing). Anyway, esp. since I’m rushing out the door today (Women’s March, & this one’s for you & May King), I was putting together the “dill” & the “Phyllis” in Diane’s post title, which made me think of the awesome & wickedly funny Phyllis Diller…& made me LOL to think of her.
Finally (I promise), before reading, I’d envisioned you on the medical marijuana chocolates line, ala Lucy & Ethel. Now THAT’S funny (&–BTW–I somehow bought that picture–framed–& have had it hanging in my kitchen, which gives all who visit it a chuckle).
Yeah…laughter is, indeed, the best medicine.
You GO, girl!!!
