While driving, I heard a song from “Hamilton” on Sirius Broadway channel.
The song was King George III singing “You’ll Be Back” to his rebellious colonies.
Do you think it’s time to ask Queen Elizabeth if we can come back?
Note: it is a wonderful show. See it if you possibly can. Road company, whatever.

Hamilton tickets in Chicago start at $147 (not including ticketing fees) per ticket, and that’s if you want to sit in the third balcony behind a post. Outrageous and shameful for something that liberals are cheering so wildly. How about making this more accessible to ordinary people?

A whole group of students from my school attended a performance in October. I might have gone too, except I happened to be escorting a whole group of other students, that same day, to see Wicked, courtesy of TDF. Who says cool things don’t happen in city schools?

Wicked and Hamilton are two of the best shows on Broadway. Glad to hear nyc public schools kids got free tickets. Last Year I saw Anna Deveare Smith perform, and half the audience were high school students.

The play will be made into a film, so that we peons, can enjoy it. I am looking forward to the film.

I don’t think the Queen or the British would want to take us back because that would mean taking Trump and Bannon and all of their deplorable/racist followers too.

They have Nigel Farage and Brexit, but I’d still rather have their problems than ours! Plus the food in Britain is no longer a bad joke.

I think it was 600,000 British people who signed a petition that they didn’t want Trump to set foot in their country. Smart people. They learned. What is our problem?

Careful…with the frequent terrorist incidents in Great Britain, I can see a reverse immigration coming across the pond…regardless of politics. Security TRUMPs the rhetoric of the media.

I’m waiting (&, I know, this one will be a looooong wait!) to see Hamilton done at one of our local high schools (or by a community theatre group). Honestly, their productions are stellar, & the productions have been just as good as seeing them on Broadway.
Of course, the price is right, & the money goes right back into making more theatre, so it’s a no-brainer.
Another reason to stay alive during & past the Trump Administration.

Everything on Broadway ends up at either the Regent or Princess Theatres in Melbourne, Australia. So far Hamilton is holding out on us. But I can wait. Saw Book of Mormon for $70AUD a ticket a couple of months ago. Great seats, great theatre, great production (including Nyk Bielak as Elder Cunningham).

Book of Mormon was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. CATS is great. Saw it twice. Loved Bette Midler in HELLO DOLLY.
