I was laughing so hard there were tears streaming down my face. Thanks for passing it on.
I love that the dogs were using ways of getting the cats off their beds other than attacking them. It’s disturbing that the owners were encouraging them, though. I was thinking, “why not get the cats their own bed, too?” or in one case, a bed big enough so they both could use it?
My mother used to tell the story of finding two little heads in my sister’s bed. The one smack dab in the middle (on the pillow) was the cat. My sister was close to rapid exit mode. 🙂
As the “mother” of two cats, I can attest to the fact that this is merely a cat/dog cultural difference. Cats typically believe in “time-sharing” (like condos). There are certain times of the day that they each have a special space, and then they switch. LOL!
I love those. It always amazes me that my 10 pound cat can prevent the 80 pound greyhounds from going upstairs or downstairs, depending on where she is sitting.
The bigger the dog the more meek they seem to be around cats. It’s the little ones that make noise and get feisty. Like the little Weiner in the video.
5 cats, one dog and yes they do! If they are close they will work out sleeping together sometimes so you just need an extra bed or one more bed than you have cats. Sometimes a really big bed will work too. Yours is good. My dog, Pig, who is now dead kept getting pushed off his cushion on the front seat that I had put there so he could see out without sitting up (He was 11 then and died at 16). His own cat, Zip, kept taking the middle of the cushion moving from Atlanta to New Orleans in 2004. That left Pig on the floor and me moving Zip while driving. Cats are persistent little critters and if they use the claw advantage often the dog will give up.
Thanks for the laugh! I have two cats now, but had a dog in addition to the cats at one time. The cats definitely ruled the house. They still do: they just now boss the humans around!
Cats rule, dogs drool!
At least there was some compromising at the end, it was nice to see the dogs get some satisfaction.
Thanks for the laughs.

From whence my mangled version of a Mark Twain observation:
“If an edufraud could be crossed with a cat, it would improve the edufraud but deteriorate the cat.”
