The narcissist in me comes out again. My Facebook post after 10 minutes of testimony pegged it as Alzheimer’s .
A disease first noticed in the Executive office during the Reagan Administration . Before he was actually diagnosed. Of course,I am not a neurologist .
But lets keep an eye on the big picture . Its not the obstruction ,its the crime , innocent people do not obstruct. Impeach Trump ,impeach Pence .
The attorney general’s opening statement on the question of meetings with the Russians was clear, direct, and unambiguous. Given such clarity, it requires a special kind of deliberate ignorance for Democrat members of the committee to continue peppering him with questions about it; but pepper him they did. In fact, by the time Harris got around to asking her questions, Sessions had already answered the exact same questions at least seven times. Each time he had answered that he did not recall any other meetings with “the Russians” that he had not already — in his opening statement — disclosed.
Who are the real jokesters?
None of that stopped Harris from asking, “Did you have any communications with Russian officials for any reason during the campaign that have not been disclosed in public or to this committee?” Sessions answered — again — that he did not recall any.
At this point, Harris pressed him with, “Did you have any communication with any Russian businessman or any Russian nationals?” Sessions began his answer by saying, “I don’t believe I had any conversation with Russian businessmen or Russian nationals. A lot of people were at the convention, it’s conceivable —” Harris cut him off to say she had other questions.
With the clear memory of his question and answer session with Franken during his confirmation testimony, Sessions’ composure changed from his usual calm demeanor to something a good bit sharper. He cut back in with, “Well, you let me qualify — if I don’t qualify it, you’ll accuse me of lying. So I need to be correct as best as I can,” adding, “And I’m not to be able to be rushed this fast. It makes me nervous.”
Sessions’ answers to questions of whether he had communications with Russians as part of a plot to undermine the interests of the United States should lay those questions to rest. But, given the fact that he was asked repeatedly after having already answered, those questions are likely to limp along with assistance from the same liberal mainstream media that helped spawn them in the first place.
And I ask a final question – Does anyone really think Sessions would have an open meeting with a horde of people around to listen in to collude with the Russian.
I think the real humor can be found in the many “experts,” medical professional, psychiatrists, psychoanalysts who have never had a personal meeting with Trump to evaluate him as having “dangerous mental illness.” “Experts” cited paranoia, delusional and grandiose thinking, and even compared Trump to murderers and rapists. Now we have amateur diagnosticians calling him narcissistic alluding to a mental illness. The Alternet article mention here before, June 2, 2017 Michael Bader, a psychologist and psychoanalyst, was in conflict with the “Goldwater Rule” is a prime example of professionals who are unethical and avoid the APA;s website claiming it would be “unethical” and “irresponsible” to abuse their credibility for political purposes – the Goldwater Rule, that enjoins psychotherapists from diagnosing public figures based on secondhand information and evaluating a public figure they haven’t examined personally or received consent to do so.
Amateur diagnosticians create misguided psychiatric name-calling fostered by fevered media speculation about Trump’s psychological motivations and psychiatric diagnosis are also encouraged by mental health professionals who disregard ethical constraints.
Another failure to delegitimize Trump and his administration.
I dunno, but Sessions looked like a character out of “Lil Abner” or Gollum in “Lord of the Rings.”
As you recall, when he was confirmed, he denied having met twice with the Russian ambassador. Why so many contacts between members of a presidential campaign and Russian officials? Why did little Jared propose a back Channel in a secure room in the Russian embassy, where no US agencies could listen in? Strange.
May I add the following – Allen Frances, professor emeritus of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Duke University Medical College, was chairman who wrote the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders IV.
“Trump doesn’t meet the criteria that defines a diagnosis of narcissistic personality . “He may be a world-class narcissist, but this doesn’t make him mentally ill, because he does not suffer from the distress and impairment required to diagnose mental disorder.”
I add the above for those who call him a narcissist without attaining a medical degree and with the name calling implying a mental illness.
If Trump were mentally ill or had early treatment nest dementia, his behavior mopight make sense. If he has no mental problems, then we must attribute his decisions, his policies, his tweets, and his lying to ignorance, malice, arrogance, and narcissism. If you prefer the latter, that’s ok with me.
Michelle Rhee is clearly working in the Donald administration. They’re cheating. They’re erasing answers. It’s Erasergate Part 2. Next hearing, watch them show up with tape on their mouths.
Good line: “After listening to him talk for hours, your own brain starts to hurt,”

You know, satire is pretty much almost dead. How can you satirize an administration that satirizes itself?
You can’t make that stuff up.
